I have visited this care home on a few occasions and I have always been very impressed by both the location and the atmosphere in the care home.
The building itself is very beautiful and on stunning green grounds. Residents have spacious rooms, and lovely high ceilings that make it feel welcoming and homely.

The home was clean and well presented, and everyone I met was friendly and professional. It was clear that a lot of care and effort went into creating a comfortable environment for residents. I came away with a very positive impression and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality care home.

Dad went into Allesley Hall for the second time for convalesance after a hospital admission. The care he received to nurse him back to full health and independence was nothing short of amazing. Without the care of the staff in Allesley Hall I dread to think where we would be now. Every team member listened to Dad and responded to his physical and emotional needs that lead to him being able to go home. I would not want anyone I care for to go into any other nursing home. What a wonderful place. Thank you

Excellent consistent care for my Grandmother throughout her stay, lots of activities ran for the residents as well as great facilities; the room is spacious and the views around the home are fantastic. She loves sitting out in the garden.

My mum who had primary progressive MS had a very very pleasant experience at Allesley Hall. When she entered the hall, she was bed bound and we had no hope that she would leave her bedroom. Within 6 weeks , the excellent ( and all the team are excellent) workers managed to get her downstairs into the communal areas. Their attention to detail was amazing and I could not wish for a better location for my mum for her last years

The team are very flexible in visiting hours and also considerate when you are visiting to allow quality time to be held with family. Very accommodating of young children. The grounds are lovely & peaceful and a great option to push Mum round (set within a park to explore if you have young children to keep them and your loved one entertained.

Mum passed away at Allesley hall and we could not have wished for a better place for her be. Quite simply fantastic and mum had a very positive time there . Amazing place

Reply from David Ogunleye, Director at Allesley Hall

Hi Christian, thanks for the amazing feedback. It means a lot, especially as your mum was with us for a long period of time so you are the perfect person to assess the hard work that the team put in to provide compassionate care for the residents. We sincerely hope you and the family are doing...

My friend was looked after so well that she was happy and respected by everyone who had contact with her.
The nursing care she received was excellent and any changes were communicated effectively.
The carers were really lovely. Always ready with a joke or a funny saying.

I cant thank them enough. I slept at night knowing she was there being looked after. Thank you

Mum lived in Allesley Hall from December 20025 until she sadly passed away in February 2026.
The staff were all amazing and Mum was treated with care, understanding, professionalism and dignity throughout.
The food was beautifully presented, the activities were perfect for Mum, especially the musical entertainment. Mums room was lovely and cosy and kept really clean by the staff.

We are hoping that Dad will move into Allesley Hall when he is due to be discharged from hospital.

Review from Ronald G (Brother of Resident) published on 30 January 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My sister was transferred to Allesley Hall from a home in London when they were both part of MHA. I had been very pleased with the home in London and following a conversation with the manager of Allesley Hall was confident the same standard of care would be maintained. My experience shows this has been the case. My sister is rather challenging, but the carers have learned how to manage her with respect and dignity. Communication is excellent. The home and gardens are in a beautiful location. After a year I believe the 5 star rating is warranted.

Reply from David Ogunleye, Director at Allesley Hall

Hi Ronald, we appreciate the trust you've had to allow us to look after your sister. Hearing that our nurses and carers have treated her with compassion, respect and dignity is great to hear. It completely aligns with our values. Our management team also try their best to ensure they communicate...

My aunt went into Allesley hall 2021 .. without any question the professionalism, care and friendship extended her life. I have nothing but praise and gratitude to all the staff present and past who went over and above to help not only Jean but our family during this time.

She finally ended her fight January 20th 2026 .. the support and genuine care shown by everyone was a credit to the home. Thankyou all.

My mother was a resident of Allesley Hall for nearly 4 years until her recent passing. From the very beginning mum spoke very highly of all the staff and how much she loved her room. Right up until the end mum would comment how all her requirements were met.
Personally I have never met such a caring group of people. The staff are amazing, I will genuinely miss seeing them all. They all showed such warmth and fondness towards my mum. It felt like an extended family, one I would choose!
As my mum's life drew to a close, all the staff were so caring with us all it was a great comfort to me and eased the sadness.
I would highly recommend Allesley Hall.

I wish everyone there all the very best and my heartfelt thanks for everything you did for mum and my family.

My mum had been bed bound for some months and the transformation in the 3 weeks respite care she had was incredible. She loved the people, felt safe and cared for, ate well and her personal care was outstanding. In her words she felt "alive" again. Her room overlooked beautiful views and as an avid garden lover she was really happy in her environment. Her personal appearance and general wellbeing was definitely enhanced by the high care standards and her mental health improved no end. Thank you to everyone for making her feel so welcome and able to take part in life at Allesley Hall in such a dignified and respectful way.

I have held off doing a review for a while as I wanted my comments to be based on months of experience rather than days or weeks. My mother is in Allesley Hall & has been there for over 6 months. As a family we considered very carefully what type of establishment would best suit her & her needs & she herself was very much involved in the decision, as moving in to permanent care after a long life of living independently was going to entail a huge transition for her. After an extremely traumatic & dangerous few weeks at another home in Coventry she was transferred to Allesley Hall & the experience could not have been more contrasting. The management, nursing staff, & all other staff are not only professional and efficient, they are truly caring in every sense of the word. The surroundings are comfortable & the location is stunning. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Allesley Hall. My mother feels safe, happy, & so well looked after. That is worth its weight in gold to our family.

Hi, thank you so much for the review. I'm delighted that your mum is now receiving compassionate care and most importantly, is treated safety and with dignity. From the very first moment we walked into Allesley Hall we had a lovely feeling that this could be the right place for Dad to spend the time we would be fortunate enough to have with him.
We were greeted warmly and shown round. The entrance is spacious, clean, light & airy. All members of staff seemed happy to welcome us.
We were so impressed we made plans on behalf of Dad to move him there. He had a ground floor room with en-suite wet room & kitchen.
We were not sorry with that decision. The home was always clean, the staff whatever their role were helpful, kind and welcoming every single day! We formed close bonds with the whole team something that helped whilst Dad was so poorly.
The end approached and dad's care was stepped up by everyone, always there when we needed them.
Dad's passing was so peaceful, it felt better than in a hospital and they had everything needed for his comfort during his passing.

I can only hope my children would choose Allesley Hall for me! Thank you all.

Thank you so much Lesley for the amazing feedback! We will try our best to maintain the level of care. As I've said previously, you're always welcome back to Allesley Hall, even from a social point of view. The staff spoke glowingly of your dad, he clearly was a great man.

Allesley Hall has given Mum so much more than we thought possible, she is lovingly cared for and treated with great respect whilst providing all care and medical needs due to the excellent team. In addition the environment and activities have given a completely new side to her life, as have the friendships with other residents, everyone cares about each other which is quite beautiful. I also get lots of support which is lovely at often difficult times, thank you.

My dad was only in Allesley Hall for 6 days before he died. We had selected Allesley Hall and insisted to social services that he was discharged here due to him being attacked at a previous nursing home. We are so pleased that we did. In his final few days, he was treated with respect, kindness and dignity. We feel that he had a peaceful death, which he deserved after the traumatic time he had. Thank you, Allesley Hall - you were amazing.
