My mum recently had to go into nursing care as she had been discharged from hospital into the care of my 86 year old dad, who cannot care for her. From the moment she arrived in the home, she was treated exceptionally well and within a day said she was "loving it" and said “everyone is so good to me”.
While she is still very ill, she is looking so much better than before and is now getting all the medical attention and care she needs. I know that she will most likely pass away at some point in the near future, but I couldn’t wish for her to be anywhere else for her final days. She isn’t scared of dying, just how she will go and she has been reassured she will be fully looked after and won’t be in pain and this has given her a great sense of peace. I cannot thank the staff enough for all they are doing for her.

My mum was in a very bad place before she became a resident here due to her physical health and mobility issues at her previous residence and hadn't left her room for over 3 months. At Allesley Hall, she was downstairs in the communal areas within weeks. Fantastic. The staff are very attentive and great
for keeping me up to date with her health. It's set in lovely surroundings and with a nearby park to walk residents around or take kids to when they get bored it has everything.
Staff are very relaxed and no time is a bad time to visit (and very accommodating to allow residents to see their grandchildren) with lots of various activities (e.g bingo, keep fit, singers, crafts, theme days etc.).

We had a very negative and upsetting experience in the end after our family member was given notice to leave after a complaint. But there are a lot of very kind and compassionate carers. The setting and the rooms are lovely but the most important thing about a care home is how the care is given and
whether the person gets any real attention if they are in their room 24/7.

We always knew that if Mum needed to be admitted into a care home it would have to be Allesley Hall Care Home. We certainly weren't disappointed. The love, care and attention given to Mum was amazing. Every member of staff is dedicated and went out of their way to do their very best for both Mum and
to support us. They are like an extended family.
Thanks to them all, we had Mum for more time than we expected and Mum enjoyed the last few months of her life in a comfortable, caring environment.

When my friend came to Allesley Hall Care Home, she had been bedbound for over four months. Within two weeks of my friend's admission, my friend was mobilised with a wheelchair and was able to move around with the support of the caring staff, enabling her to have her dinner in the communal dining room
and join in activities at Allesley Hall. Allesley Hall has always been kind and supportive and has responded to any discrepancies/concerns in a professional and caring manner. The staff are extremely pleasant and supportive. The food is lovely too.

I would highly recommend Allesley Hall. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The care is exceptional. My dad was here also. My mum is so happy and settled. The rooms are lovely, very clean and comfortable. The setting is lovely with well-looked-after grounds and gardens. A very welcoming home.

My Mum has been a resident at Allesley Hall since December 2021 and I could not wish for a better place for her to live now. All of the staff, from the manager to the nurses and carers, right to the catering and housekeeping staff are kind, helpful, pleasant, and patient. Nothing is too much trouble
and I am always made to feel very welcome when I visit. Although making the decision to move Mum to a nursing home following a stroke was a difficult and painful decision, I am 100% confident that she is in the right place for her and I know she is being incredibly well looked after. When I leave after visiting her I never have to worry. I know she is in the very safest of hands. Thank you to all of you who work there, you are all angels, every single one of you.

Sadly my Mum was only at Allesley Hall for a few weeks, the standard of care was outstanding, from every member of staff. Each and every one of them went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only did they give mum first-class treatment and care, they also looked after me, keeping me informed all the
time and checking I was okay as well. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot express my gratitude to the whole team enough. They ensured mum's last days were pain-free and peaceful. Saying thank you seems so inadequate. The staff are obviously trained to the highest standard. They are professional, kind, aware of my needs as well as mum's, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. But more than that, every member of staff genuinely cares not only for the resident but for the whole family. All I can say is thank you. You helped me more than you will ever know, during a very sad time.

My mum, was a resident here for the last 15 months of her life, having had Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia for nearly 10 years. The staff here are fabulous and extremely professional in their care and support both to my mum and to myself and my family. The home is both clean and free of the smells
that you often get when going into a care home which tells you of the standard of care and attention to the residents. The staff also go above and beyond with their stimulation and activities for the residents which keeps them as active as possible both in mind and body. The residents are treated as family by all the staff and give them the level of dignity that you would wish for your family member. The grounds are fabulous and very tranquil, I only hope that if I were to ever need residential support in my latter years that I could also be considered for a place here. I can not recommend this home highly enough. Mum passed away on the 18th of June 2021.

My overriding emotion in thinking about Allesley Hall is intense gratitude. All the staff there are not “just” good, they are exceptional, every single one that I met. The care given to my Mum and myself was wonderful, attentive, professional, calm and comprehensive. Mum only had a short time there,
as she was extremely ill but in that time I was overwhelmed with the levels of compassion and a sense of being cushioned and comforted through Mum’s last days. My only sadness is that we did not have more time there for Mum and us to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the very highest quality care that comes from having a clearly excellent management team and the most stringent level of standards. I really cannot recommend Allesley Hall highly enough. It will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you so much to all of you.

A friend of mine had been a resident at Allesley Hall for over three years, and I would like to commend the staff for the care that he has received during that time. He passed away in May 2021, after many years of suffering with a progressive and debilitating disease. I found it always clean and pleasant
for residents and visitors, and the staff were always happy to find time to talk with me about my friend's situation. The Home is in a beautiful setting with extensive gardens and wonderful period features inside. A quality home with caring staff.

Allesley Hall is an excellent nursing home. My Father-in-Law moved there in September 2018 for end of life care (only predicted for a few weeks), but in the end, he lived there happily for 18 months before passing away in April this year. This lengthening of his life was due to the amazing care he received
at Allesley Hall. The staff there are fantastic, both the nurses and the care staff and the management team - the staff are well trained and very caring for the residents. All my Father-in-law's medical needs were ably taken care of, but the staff were so kind and thoughtful as well, both to him and my Mother-in-Law, who visited every day and so built up a lovely rapport with the staff. When it was my Father-in-Law's or my Mother-in-Law's birthday, or their anniversary, the staff made a real fuss of them both, which was lovely. The staff also decorated the home for Halloween, Christmas, Easter etc, and had lots of celebrations throughout the year, which was great for the residents.

Allesley Hall has provided excellent care to my mother during the Covid-19 period. When she was isolated we were kept informed and the situation was explained clearly to her. If we have contacted the home we have been treated with courtesy and respect and great professionalism. In the absence of visitors
and entertainment from external sources, the activities coordinator has worked hard to stimulate and motivate the residents. Staff have gone the extra mile to make residents as comfortable and happy as possible in very difficult circumstances.

During this unprecedented time, I have been impressed with the care Mum has received. She tested positive for coronavirus which must have been brought into the home as she had no contact with anybody else once the home went into lockdown. However, the staff has cared for her as though she was part of
their own family. The staff have regularly updated me on any issues and enabled me to share Mum's 90th birthday, outside, with social distancing. Please say thank you to all the staff.
