From the first contact, my friend and her family have had amazing support from all the staff at all levels. The care I have seen is second to none and as I visit at differing times I know it is not a show for my benefit but a truly caring home that has taken what was a traumatic time for us all and
made it a bearable time. We have watched my friend improve in so many ways and this is all due to the care and attention she receives.
Reply from Bernie Parrott, Home Manager at Allesley HallThank you for your wonderful review of the care and support your friend is receiving at Allesley Hall. It is reassuring to hear that you find our team to be so caring and supportive and I will be sure to let them know what you have said.

I cannot praise the staff at Allesley Hall highly enough. My mum is better cared for since she came here than she has been for years, at home or in hospital. All the staff, at every level, are kind and caring towards my mum and always friendly and welcoming to visitors. The rooms, setting and activities
are super, the food is delicious and plentiful. It is such a weight off my mind to know mum is being cared for, physically, mentally and socially and being encouraged to participate and socialise. Her physical and mental health are so much improved since she moved in. I am absolutely delighted mum is here and I would recommend the home most highly to anyone.
Thank you so much to ALL the staff.

Allesley Hall comes up trumps again! My husbands condition has deteriorated and the response at the home as usual was prompt and helpful. He has been transferred to a more suitable room which has been more helpful to increased needs. Well done and thank you to all staff for making my husbands life better.
You're the best.

The staff are very caring and help my brother out all the time. They are always checking on him as he stays in his room most of the day. They do a lot of activities but he keeps himself in his room.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My father was admitted to Allesley Hall in March 2016. He was quite poorly and needed nursing care. He had previously lived a supported but independent life in his own home. The care given to my father at Allesley Hall was exceptional. He flourished within days of his arrival there and it felt as
though he had been there for many weeks. Those caring for him also got to know him very well in a short space of time and it was a great comfort for my sister and myself, knowing his every need would be catered for.
Reply from Bernie Parrott, Home Manager at Allesley HallThank you for sharing your experience of the care your Father received at Allesley Hall. It is wonderful to hear how he flourished under the teams care and that this was such a comfort for you and your Sister at what I can imagine was a difficult time.

My father moved into Allesley Hall on 18 March 2016.

The care shown by everyone was excellent. All of his care needs were catered for to the highest standard. Every concern was immediately dealt with and my dad was treated with the greatest of care and respect. He was very comfortable and I

was always made very welcome on my visits to Allesley Hall. I felt very confident that dad was well cared for when I was not with him. This gave me great comfort.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

My sister has been a resident since October 2004. During her stay to date the manager who previously worked at the home then took over as manager is a caring professional nurse who goes beyond what's necessary to provide excellent care to my sister. The nursing staff are caring, professional and all
know my sister well and again provide me with comfort that when I'm not able to visit, they are looking after her well. The home environment is excellent and the grounds maintained well.
Reply from Bernie Parrott, Home Manager at Allesley HallThank you for reviewing the care and support your sister receives at Allesley Hall. The staff at Allesley Hall are super, very friendly, very caring and most importantly have provided an outstanding level of care. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The home provides multiple activities for residents including band in the park in the summer. I couldn't wish for my relative
to be in a better place of care

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.920)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.920) out of 10 for Allesley Hall is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 33 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 33 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.920 for Allesley Hall is calculated as follows: ( (357 Excellents x 5) + (29 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 387 Ratings = 4.92
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Allesley Hall is based on 33 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 45 registered maximum number of service users is 9, which has been reached with 33 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
