My partner settled very quickly on his arrival at King's Court Care Home, to the point he seems happy, as much as he can be with his ongoing health issues. I find all the carers and management team to be very friendly, always ready to help with any fears that I have.

I wish to say a big thank you to the whole team at King's Court Home (KCH) who care for my mother, Danuska. They create a homely atmosphere which helps my mum feel relaxedd and, in her own way, happy. Staff know what she likes, they support her achieve it even though there is a very limited level of communication with her. My mother loves food in the KCH made by the Italian chef and drinks milkshakes, which helps with her nutrition, intake and was arranged by the management because they recognised her needs and acted on it. I also appreciate the support which they provide to me, because it is very difficult for me to deal with my mother's declining health. I am very grateful for all that they do!

My experience in here is 5 star. I find the carers are all wonderful. Of course I've got my favourites. The care is wonderful. The food is good. I can't complain about. And most of all, Alex, the manager, he is very special and best of regards and I care about him very much. He always cheers me up. (Wonderful and very nice meals).

My mum went into King's Court Care Home on 31st July 2024. She is living with dementia, and the first few months were understandably hard for both her and me as we adjusted. She has since lost her hearing, which makes communication very difficult, but the staff are patient and kind, and always find a way to connect with her. Over the last 6 months she has really settled in and is genuinely happy. She now calls King's Court her home. She tells me that everyone likes her and that she likes everyone who cares for her, and I can see that's true. I am grateful to all the team for the care, compassion, and warmth they show every day.

My mother is resident at King's Court. She has challenging behaviour and the staff are always kind. They try to find ways to cope with her and liaise with the doctors aswell. The staff all appear to be kind & friendly, with smiles for everyone. Visitors appear to be welcome and are encouraged to join in activities. The lack of ensuite facilities has been an issue.

This is an excellent care home and you would be hard put to find anywhere better in the UK geared up for residents with differing types of dementia. A very nice caring atmosphere, cozy, friendly and well run. The garden is lovely and perfect as it allows secure walking outside with minimal supervision. There are regular activities organized and the individual rooms are well arranged on the three floors. All the staff are excellent and in their own way have individual characters which make it easy to engage with them when visiting.

Alex Angelov
Alex AngelovJob Title:Registered ManagerJoined: 2023

I am a Registered Manager with over 15 years of experience in the social care sector, both in the UK and internationally. Throughout my career, I have successfully managed two residential care homes and provided oversight and support to additional services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

Over the years, I have worked across a variety of care settings, including nursing homes, residential care homes, and services supporting young adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and autism. This diverse experience has given me a broad understanding of delivering compassionate, individualised care to people with a wide range of needs.

I am passionate about supporting older adults, particularly those living with dementia, and creating safe, welcoming, and nurturing environments where every resident is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. I take great pride in leading and developing dedicated care teams, fostering a positive culture, and building strong relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to promote trust, well-being, and excellent outcomes.

I hold an International Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, recognised in both the UK and the European Union, together with a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care. I am also a registered Social Worker with Social Work England, enabling me to maintain my professional registration, continue my professional development, and ensure my practice remains current with the latest legislation, professional standards, and best practice.

With extensive knowledge of CQC regulations, governance, quality assurance, and inspection processes, I am committed to ensuring that every home I manage delivers outstanding, compassionate care while providing residents with dignity, independence, and a true sense of home and belonging.

Elena Preda
Elena PredaJob Title:Deputy ManagerJoined: 2023

I am currently working as Deputy Manager at King's Court, a role I have proudly held since April 2023.

I began my career in the care sector in January 2015 and dedicated the following nine years to working within a nursing home, where I progressed through several roles, including Senior/Lead Carer, Clinical Assistant (Nurse Associate), and Lifestyle Assistant Manager. This experience provided me with a strong foundation in both the clinical and operational aspects of adult social care, while allowing me to develop the leadership skills needed to support residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to continuous professional development. I achieved my NVQ Level 2 and QCF Level 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care before completing my QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care. Alongside these, I have gained additional qualifications in Team Leading, Administration and Personal Assistance, Human Resources and Payroll, and Accounting and Finance. Each qualification has contributed to my personal and professional development, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to progress into leadership and to support the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care.

Before moving into health and social care, I completed my Baccalaureate Diploma in Romania with a focus on Universal Literature and History. This educational background strengthened my communication, analytical thinking, and appreciation of different cultures and perspectives, qualities that continue to support my work in a diverse care environment.

I am passionate about supporting older adults and ensuring every resident receives compassionate, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, choice, and respect. I believe in leading by example, creating a positive and supportive culture, and building strong relationships with residents, their families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.

I have a particular interest in the clinical aspects of care and enjoy supporting my team through mentoring, continuous learning, and the promotion of best practice. I am committed to maintaining high standards of care, encouraging continuous improvement, and ensuring services remain compliant with regulatory requirements. Above all, I strive to create an environment where residents feel safe, valued, respected, and truly at home, while empowering staff to deliver the highest standards of care with confidence and compassion.
