View Full Details of King's CourtMy mum went into King's Court Care Home on 31st July 2024. She is living with dementia, and the first few months were understandably hard for both her and me as we adjusted. She has since lost her hearing, which makes communication very difficult, but the staff are patient and kind, and always find a way to connect with her. Over the last 6 months she has really settled in and is genuinely happy. She now calls King's Court her home. She tells me that everyone likes her and that she likes everyone who cares for her, and I can see that's true. I am grateful to all the team for the care, compassion, and warmth they show every day.
Mum has been living at King's Court for 9 months. She is very happy and well cared for. The staff are all wonderful and caring, nothing is too much trouble. The care home is very secure and clean.
My mother is resident at King's Court. She has challenging behaviour and the staff are always kind. They try to find ways to cope with her and liaise with the doctors aswell. The staff all appear to be kind & friendly, with smiles for everyone. Visitors appear to be welcome and are encouraged to join in activities. The lack of ensuite facilities has been an issue.
This is an excellent care home and you would be hard put to find anywhere better in the UK geared up for residents with differing types of dementia. A very nice caring atmosphere, cozy, friendly and well run. The garden is lovely and perfect as it allows secure walking outside with minimal supervision. There are regular activities organized and the individual rooms are well arranged on the three floors. All the staff are excellent and in their own way have individual characters which make it easy to engage with them when visiting.
The staff at Kings Court are amazing. Friendly, caring and always happy. It feels like extended family. We couldn't be happier. Thanks to everyone.
Mum came to stay here on a short term placement after leaving hospital. She was very anxious and confused due to her dementia and she had never stayed in a care home before. She was instantly made to feel very welcome. She is now happy and relaxed. Staff couldn't have been lovelier. They are kind and attentive. It is such a relief to know mum is happy and being well looked after. Thank you.
I'd just like to commend all the team at Kings Court in Horsham, they're all lovely caring people and have looked after my father very well, I feel confident that they'll look after him and have his best interests at heart, I'd like to thank them for the care they've given him.
Our Mother was under the care of Kings Court Care Home for approx 2 years until her passing. Mam was always treated with the utmost respect and dignity. She loved everybody. In the weeks up to her passing, staff were extremely accommodating and supportive of the family. We would like to express our gratitude to all staff and would highly recommend King Court Care Home.
Grandma has been placed into a care home in December and we couldn't be more satisfied with the decision. The staff are incredibly attentive and compassionate. The facilities are clean and welcoming and Grandma seems to be enjoying the meals provided. We feel reassured knowing she is in such good hands.
I would recommend Kings Court, they looked after my mother with exceptional care and support up until she passed in July 2024. The staff are angels, kind and caring. The entertainment is really good and activities to keep the residents moving and mindful. Food and drink plentiful and of good quality. Management and office always available if support is needed.
I was extremely happy with the love, care and attention my aunt received during her time at King's Court care home. All the staff were very kind to her and myself.
My mother was only in King's Court for 11 days when sadly she passed away in her sleep at 99 years old. The care that she had was amazing, and she was more content that we had seen her for a long time. There were activities every day to keep the residents occupied, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff and management. Her room was very comfortable, and she said the food was good. I would thoroughly recommend King's Court to anyone looking for a caring, reasonably priced care home.
My father was a resident at King's Court Care Home for almost 2 years, he was so well looked after by the staff who cared for him with love and compassion, always respecting him and allowing him his dignity. Sadly he passed away on 15th February. We can't thank the staff enough for their dedication in looking after him right up until the end. King's Court is such a lovely, warm, family-feel environment, we couldn't have wished for better for Dad.
The staff are very caring, my Dad is quite happy there. His room is kept clean and tidy, also the whole care home is kept clean and tidy. They have staff going in every day and the interaction with all the residents is superb, couldn't fault any of them.
The care provided in King's Court is truly transformational. When my mother was transferred here from the hospital, we were fearful that she was in her last days, but since bring with you, the change has been most remarkable. It is clean and obvious the attention to detail they give to the residents, but above all, there is pride in what you do, as shown by the active level of interaction with me to share what has happened since my previous visit. It is the little things that make all the difference, like giving my mother a Czech translation of the menu. The smile on my mother's face is ever-present, and I feel comfortable that she is getting the best care possible, which has led to her health status being more stable. Thank you, King's Court.
My brother has settled happily into Kind's Court and feels at home there. When I visit him, I can see from his interaction with staff that they are kind and attentive and that he enjoys his conversation with them, as well as with the other residents. I have felt welcome each time I have visited. Staff have always made time to speak to me about how he's doing. He has always been clean and comfortable and interacting with staff or residents in the lounge. He feels lucky to be in this home. He loves the food and enjoys the activities. This is a responsibly and imaginatively run home with the needs of the residents the priority.
My mother appears very happy, from my observations she is well cared for. The Activities Co-ordinator is excellent. Communication between myself and the home is fine. In the future, I hope all decisions regarding my mother will be communicated to me. I have observed care staff looking at their mobile devices, but that may be part of their role. Food seems very good and nutritious.
The staff are fantastic. They are carers in the true sense of the word. My mum sadly passed in December last year, but the staff at King's Court could not have been kinder while she was alive. She spent her last 16 months at King's Court and we know she was content and really well looked after there.
My mother is very well taken care of at King's Court. The staff are all caring, friendly and helpful and approachable. The home itself is very well maintained and has a very homely atmosphere.
My father seems comfortable. Premises are slightly shabby. Staff seem friendly, management very approachable.
