Our Mother was under the care of Kings Court Care Home for approx 2 years until her passing.
Mam was always treated with the utmost respect and dignity. She loved everybody. In the weeks up to her passing, staff were extremely accommodating and supportive of the family.

We would like to express our gratitude to all staff and would highly recommend King Court Care Home.

Grandma has been placed into a care home in December and we couldn't be more satisfied with the decision. The staff are incredibly attentive and compassionate. The facilities are clean and welcoming and Grandma seems to be enjoying the meals provided. We feel reassured knowing she is in such good hands.

I would recommend Kings Court, they looked after my mother with exceptional care and support up until she passed in July 2024.
The staff are angels, kind and caring. The entertainment is really good and activities to keep the residents moving and mindful.
Food and drink plentiful and of good quality.

Management and office always available if support is needed.

My mother was only in King's Court for 11 days when sadly she passed away in her sleep at 99 years old. The care that she had was amazing, and she was more content that we had seen her for a long time. There were activities every day to keep the residents occupied, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff and management. Her room was very comfortable, and she said the food was good. I would thoroughly recommend King's Court to anyone looking for a caring, reasonably priced care home.

My father was a resident at King's Court Care Home for almost 2 years, he was so well looked after by the staff who cared for him with love and compassion, always respecting him and allowing him his dignity. Sadly he passed away on 15th February. We can't thank the staff enough for their dedication in looking after him right up until the end. King's Court is such a lovely, warm, family-feel environment, we couldn't have wished for better for Dad.

The staff are very caring, my Dad is quite happy there. His room is kept clean and tidy, also the whole care home is kept clean and tidy. They have staff going in every day and the interaction with all the residents is superb, couldn't fault any of them.

My mother appears very happy, from my observations she is well cared for. The Activities Co-ordinator is excellent. Communication between myself and the home is fine. In the future, I hope all decisions regarding my mother will be communicated to me. I have observed care staff looking at their mobile devices, but that may be part of their role. Food seems very good and nutritious.

The staff are fantastic. They are carers in the true sense of the word. My mum sadly passed in December last year, but the staff at King's Court could not have been kinder while she was alive.

She spent her last 16 months at King's Court and we know she was content and really well looked after there.

Mum, having been at King's Court only a week, has shown an amazing improvement in mood and engagement. The level of care provided and the support, to me, as a carer navigating the process of permanent placement has been outstanding. I am very grateful to the manager and her team and would highly recommend King's Court for dementia care. It is wonderful to know that mum is happy and receiving such a superb level of care.

My mum has been at Kings Court now for over three months and from day one they have bent over backwards to accommodate her and her needs. Nothing was a problem.
The manager has been amazing and the support team look after my mum very well on a day to day basis.

This was the hardest decision of my life and it has been made much easier knowing she is safe and well cared for. It’s a more intimate and homely feel compared to larger care facilities. It has just been taken over last year and many improvements are being implemented.

The most impressive and important aspect of my mum’s care at King’s Court is how the staff care for the residents. Their positivity, empathy, patience and professionalism means I have great trust in their abilities to care for my mum. My family and I have always been made to feel welcome when visiting.

Alex AngelovJob Title:Registered ManagerJoined: 2023

I am a Registered Manager with over 15 years of experience in the social care sector, both in the UK and internationally. Throughout my career, I have successfully managed two residential care homes and provided oversight and support to additional services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

Over the years, I have worked across a variety of care settings, including nursing homes, residential care homes, and services supporting young adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and autism. This diverse experience has given me a broad understanding of delivering compassionate, individualised care to people with a wide range of needs.

I am passionate about supporting older adults, particularly those living with dementia, and creating safe, welcoming, and nurturing environments where every resident is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. I take great pride in leading and developing dedicated care teams, fostering a positive culture, and building strong relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to promote trust, well-being, and excellent outcomes.

I hold an International Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, recognised in both the UK and the European Union, together with a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care. I am also a registered Social Worker with Social Work England, enabling me to maintain my professional registration, continue my professional development, and ensure my practice remains current with the latest legislation, professional standards, and best practice.

With extensive knowledge of CQC regulations, governance, quality assurance, and inspection processes, I am committed to ensuring that every home I manage delivers outstanding, compassionate care while providing residents with dignity, independence, and a true sense of home and belonging.

Elena Preda
Elena PredaJob Title:Deputy ManagerJoined: 2023

I am currently working as Deputy Manager at King's Court, a role I have proudly held since April 2023.

I began my career in the care sector in January 2015 and dedicated the following nine years to working within a nursing home, where I progressed through several roles, including Senior/Lead Carer, Clinical Assistant (Nurse Associate), and Lifestyle Assistant Manager. This experience provided me with a strong foundation in both the clinical and operational aspects of adult social care, while allowing me to develop the leadership skills needed to support residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to continuous professional development. I achieved my NVQ Level 2 and QCF Level 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care before completing my QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care. Alongside these, I have gained additional qualifications in Team Leading, Administration and Personal Assistance, Human Resources and Payroll, and Accounting and Finance. Each qualification has contributed to my personal and professional development, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to progress into leadership and to support the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care.

Before moving into health and social care, I completed my Baccalaureate Diploma in Romania with a focus on Universal Literature and History. This educational background strengthened my communication, analytical thinking, and appreciation of different cultures and perspectives, qualities that continue to support my work in a diverse care environment.

I am passionate about supporting older adults and ensuring every resident receives compassionate, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, choice, and respect. I believe in leading by example, creating a positive and supportive culture, and building strong relationships with residents, their families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.

I have a particular interest in the clinical aspects of care and enjoy supporting my team through mentoring, continuous learning, and the promotion of best practice. I am committed to maintaining high standards of care, encouraging continuous improvement, and ensuring services remain compliant with regulatory requirements. Above all, I strive to create an environment where residents feel safe, valued, respected, and truly at home, while empowering staff to deliver the highest standards of care with confidence and compassion.
