My mum has been a resident at Beech House Care Home for over three years and the care that she has received, and continues to receive, there is of the highest standard. Both the care home manager and deputy manager ensure that all of the staff are well-trained and have comprehensive knowledge of my mum's physical and emotional needs. Any medical problem that arises is quickly dealt with. Although Beech House's decor might not be as aesthetically pleasing as some of the newer care homes within Worksop and the surrounding areas, it has been my experience that the standard of care is much higher - and I speak from experience of having loved ones in other care homes within Worksop, Clowne and Shirebrook.

Beech House has been my Mum's home for 5 years now and I continue to feel grateful everyday for the people who care for her with such love and compassion. I have never had any doubts about my decision as I know she is safe and incredibly well looked after. All of the wonderful things that happen at Beech House, do so because the leadership team are focused wholeheartedly on the needs of the residents and because the team of exceptional carers and domestic staff work together to deliver a first class service. Every award and accolade is so well deserved. My Mum's life would have been very different if she hadn't made Beech House her home.

Mum is well cared for, she can be difficult, but they are so kind and gentile with her. I trust them with my mums welfare and beleive she is good hands. The food looks good, I never hear any complaints and the building is very clean and well maintained. It is also very secure.

Kind and caring management and staff. Helped us through a very difficult period with our mum. Very considerate of the feelings of the family in view of difficult decisions to make for our mum and keeping mum well cared for and comfortable.

Helpful with making arrangements and providing excellent care and support in a respectful manner. Always made the family welcome when visiting.

On arrival at Beech House following a hospital stay the staff were professional, caring and welcoming. The facilities and room were great. Beech House offers a clean and well organised environment for its residents and families. On arrival at Beech House the team offered an excellent smooth and comfortable transfer
from Hospital to home environment. They quickly assessed and met needs and ensured excellent care was offered, both in terms of meeting clinical, and social needs.

Overall experience excellent.

My brother was given a place in Beech House Carehome Worksop following a spell in hospital where he was admitted after a fall at home. When I visited him in hospital, he was frail, miserable and had given up on life. I was away on holiday when he went to Beech House and on visiting him when I returned, I couldn't believe the difference. He is now very happy, well and eating everything - he's always been fussy but they've got him to try new things. Beech House has, undoubtedly, saved his life. Thank you.

After two short spells of respite care at Beech House Carehome Worksop, it became necessary for my wife to have full-time residential care in June 2024. Of course, it had to be Beech House. The management/care team is outstanding and as a family, we could not have wished for better. Friendly, caring and supportive both to me, as her husband, and my family. During the last weeks, days and hours of my wife's end-of-life care, I could not have wished for better kindness, friendliness and non-intrusive support from all the staff, whether in the day or during the night. They helped to make those final days so very special. Outstanding! If you want the best for a family member then look no further. Beech House cannot be bettered. So much so that they have become a second family to me and my daughters. Thank you Beech House. You deserve the highest accolades.

My nan was in Beech House Carehome Worksop for seven months this year (2024). The staff here have been excellent with my nan and with us when visiting, they have been very professional, communicated well and courteous every time we've visited. My nan has always been well-presented whenever we have visited, which was always spur of the moment and not planned. The staff have been very quick to organise a doctor and medication when Nan was unwell and to inform us of any issues. And when she was not eating much, encouraged her to try and eat, they (in our opinion) have gone above and beyond and have definitely given that personal touch to my nan's final weeks.

The kitchen staff work endlessly to provide quality, freshly cooked, homemade meals. Thank you to all of the staff here, you have made this time a little less stressful than it could have been.

From the moment myself and two sisters visited the care home, we knew this was the right place for Mum to live in as it felt just like home. The management team and care team go above and beyond in meeting each resident's care needs, both personal and emotional, they show love, dignity and respect and treat each resident as individuals.

Excellent care. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can put my mother in respite and know that she is looked after. In fact, she's spoilt when she goes in. Staff are amazing and very kind and thoughtful. Always things going on to entertain the residents. The two ladies I mainly deal with are always there to help and accommodate when they can. Overall, ten out of ten.

My mum has lived at Beech House Care Home since 2022. She has advanced dementia now.
I can honestly say that it’s been very hard for me seeing her decline but all the staff have been very supportive.
Letting go of your own mother and having someone else look after her, isn't an easy thing to do. Nevertheless, I’m very confident in the fact there is no other care home that matches the quality of care and standards of Beech House.
There are not enough words to say how grateful I am for all the care that Mum receives.
From the professional, very supportive management team, the carers, the wonderful activities lady, the cooks and all the other staff.
Everyone plays their part, in enriching my mum's life.

After working in the care sector myself for a long time, there is no other care home that comes close to Beech House. Thank you so much.

Mum was a resident for 19 months up until her death in August. We found the home was kept very clean and the staff were kind and patient with all residents. Entertainment was provided with the residents particularly enjoying a sing-song.

I must also mention the care given to my mum and ourselves as we kept a 24-hour vigil for a week at the end of Mum's life. The care given to Mum even after her death was outstanding and I would definitely award the home a five-star rating.

Nothing is too much trouble for the hard-working staff working there. I have absolutely no worries about my father's care, he is so well looked after, with understanding and compassion, but most of all he is very happy and at the end of the day that’s all I want for him. Thank you Beech House a well-deserved 5 stars.

Outstanding care home and staff. The home is well managed and my dad was well cared for. They treated my dad and myself as family. My dad has now passed away and during his last few weeks, the staff went over and above spending time with my dad on their days off. I miss the staff so much and I cannot recommend this care home enough.

18 months ago before my Mum went to Beech House, she was sinking into the stages of Dementia at home. Due to the care and attention given by a care team that is enthusiastic and passionate about their care home and the care that they give to all residents, my mum has stabilised, she has good meals and plenty of social activities to keep her engaged.

The icing on the cake for 2023, I was able to take my mum home on Christmas Day for a family Christmas and for her to meet her new great-grandchild. Whatever happens now, we will always remember Christmas 2023 as a good one. Thank you Beech House.
