Visitors are always welcomed with a smile at Beech Court which sets the tone for the whole care home. The care and attention given to the residents is excellent, the staff take the time to get to know the residents and encourage them to talk about their lives and interests. Every effort is made to ensure
the residents and visitors are included in activities and there is always a friendly happy atmosphere in the home. The rooms are clean, warm and well cared for and the food always looks good quality and plentiful with tea and biscuits in constant supply. I would have no hesitation in recommending Beech Court to anyone looking for a small friendly care home for their loved ones.

This is a very caring, peaceful place with a kind staff who all work hard to provide a homely atmosphere where its apparent that for them it is more than 'just a job!' much thought and effort goes into each individuals specific needs at all levels with very professional and hands on management. At the
top is an amazing family who all involve themselves with the care for everyone and earn, well deserved, respect.

My dad has been in Beech court for two years and he has been looked after so well by everybody at Beech He has been allowed to live his life to the fullest, supported by the friendly professional staff. His disposition has blossomed and he is fully involved in activities around the home. The staff are
excellent both on the phone and when we come to visit, and it is like being a part of the family. The environment is always positive and I am so pleased to know that my dad is being looked after so well.

On arrival at Beech Court I was immediately offered the evening meal by two very pleasant and helpful ladies I soon learnt that all staff members regardless of gender, race or background were all this helpful and friendly. Any queries or problems that may have arisen over the past eighteen months I
have been here have all been resolved to my satisfaction promptly. I would not hesitate to recommend Beech Court to anybody in need of a place to stay for long or short periods. To sum up, it is a very comfortable and homely home.

I can't speak too highly of the care shown to my wife at Beech Court. The facts speak for themselves. On Christmas morning, they took her to hospital in their mobility vehicle, and stayed with her all day. Need I say more? Well, on her birthday they prepared a lavish buffet for me and her in the garden.
I can visit at any time without prior arrangement, and if I give notice they give me a meal. The food is very good. The only reason that I haven't given an 'excellent' rating is because it is as good as it can be given the moderate fees charged by the home. I can rest assured that my wife is being given the best care possible in a pleasant homely environment.

When I was looking for a care home for my wife I had two main requirements it should be clean and the residents should be well cared for and well treated Beech Court scores five stars for both. When visiting, my wife seems happy and relaxed. The staff could not treat them any better if they were family.
The food is very good with endless supplies of tea, coffee and biscuits. Would I recommend Beech Court, yes most definitely, and I now feel like one of the family thank you to all and every one of you for making us both very welcome.

We were looking for a care home for my mum with a homely, personal feel to it. That is exactly what we find in Beech Court Care Home with character and lovely, caring staff.
Neither mum or ourselves were ready for this transition, but with the help of all the staff she is settling in far better than
we could of hoped for, that is thanks to the care she has received from the staff. They will go above and beyond for there residents here and thanks to the staff here we see mum laughing, joking and singing, joining in activities again, going on trips out and smiling again.
She has a nice room and everything she needs, she is very comfortable here at Beech Court Care Home which I didn't think was even a possibility.

At a crisis point a few days before Christmas, Beech Court Care Home stepped in to support and welcome Dad, at very short notice, when others wouldn't.
His transition and adjustment to his new home has gone better than we expected. We are grateful for the care, hard work and empathy all staff have
shown, not only to Dad but to us, as his family.
There is a positive energy within Beech Court, it is pleasing to observe the team spirit, the compassion and the care shown to the residents. The staff have made great efforts to get to know Dad and to interact with him, thank you all.

My husband was a resident in Beech Court for a number of months and I can't fault the care he was given.. he was a great handful at times, but he was calmed when needed. Encourage him to eat, when needed. Comforted when needed, had his handheld, and was encouraged to talk and join in the others. The
staff went beyond the care I expected and made his last months the best they could be. I would also like to say that the care they gave me and my daughter was wonderful. We shared laughter and tears. I would always recommend your home to all who need the care. They all went more than that extra mile for all the residents. Thank you all.

My Mother has been in Beech Court Care Home since before Covid19.
The attention she receives from all the staff is excellent, all are very engaging, caring, and attentive to her needs.
While the decor is a little tired, far far better to be in a loving caring environment than a hotel/show home.
My
mother is very happy there and I would without hesitation recommend Beech Court to anyone having to fine a care home for a loved one.

My uncle has been at Beech Court Care Home for a year and throughout that time, I have been delighted with the care he has received.
It took him a while to settle but the manager and the team have been very patient and kind. They have been proactive in helping to get him on the right medication and
encouraging him to carry on with the things that he loves.
I can’t visit often but I get regular updates and photos and I especially like the fact there is low staff turnover and a friendly, homely atmosphere.

Mum is currently in Beech Court. The staff are friendly, caring, brilliant and well trained. Mum is currently getting over a bad chest infection. The speed and delivery of nursing care by the staff was outstanding! I have no complaints whatsoever, only praise for the staff and management! Mum suffers
from Alzheimer's and also has diabetes, she has been very well looked after and cared for at Beech Court.

The environment is safe, secure, comfortable, happy and friendly. The staff are all hard working and amazing people!

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.657)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.657) out of 10 for Beech Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.757 for Beech Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (86 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 107 Ratings = 4.757
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.9 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Beech Court Care Home is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 23 registered maximum number of service users is 4.6, which has been reached with 9 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
