My mother in law came here from another care home. Once at Brailsford she thrived. She got to be her again and her personality came back. I honestly believe Brailsford House and the staff gave her a further year of her life. The staff were so compassionate both to her and us. They ensured her last Christmas was extra special. Not once did we feel uncomfortable visiting or asking questions.

My wife Rosalind has been in Brailsford for the past 3 and half years, .
She has settled down in the home very well, and is very well looked after by all the staff there.
The staff are excellent with her needs, and all the carers are very friendly towards the family visitors and always I am welcomed with a greetings when I visit Rosalind, To me the home has a homely feeling and Ii know that Rosalind happy which gives me the knowing that all is well with her.
The organise many activities for the residents to take part in from many art colouring, and decorations to enhance the lounge and dining rooms at times of Easter, Christmas.
The home has a service of communion each month together with helping the residents to enjoy ladies who sing, play games, and enjoy being together and dancing.
The home organises trips to coffee cafes, garden centres and in the summer time a trip to Cleethorpes to have fish and chips and enjoy the seaside

Altogether I find the home excellent in every way.

For the very short time my mother-in-law was placed at Brailsford House, we, as a family, can't thank you enough for the care, compassion and support during a difficult few days. The staff have been amazing, nothing too much trouble, couldn't do enough for us. They made my mother-in-law a priority and cared for her with dignity and respect.

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

My dad was at Brailsford House for approx 16 months. I cannot thank everyone enough for all the care and support given to my dad. He was treated with dignity and respect and on many occasions the staff went above and beyond to help him and nothing was too much trouble. I was always informed of any changes and concerns regarding my dad. I found the staff very approachable. Brailsford House is a lovely home and I only wish my dad could of stayed there.

My family (especially my mother) are grateful and appreciative for the care and support that Brailsford gives to our grandfather. He can be difficult at times, but the staff are amazing. We feel so lucky to have found this home. During the Covid epidemic, we receive regular updates, calls, video chats - we feel that we know what is happening at all times. The dedication of the staff is fantastic and we can not thank them enough. They have had an extensive refurb of the ground floor recently, and the pictures look beautiful. As it is a small home, it doesn't feel too big. It feels like a family home, which is what we all wanted.

Overall, this is a great home!

My mother has been living at Brailsford House for 3 years now. She suffers from Dementia but the staff have been excellent with her. They are professional and caring (from the care team to the admin and management).
She feels at home in the building and although it can be distressing at times to visit her due to her dementia, I know she is in the best care. I particularly like how the staff greet her and talk to her. They make her feel at ease immediately, and you can tell they really want the best for her.

Brailsford House is a traditional home with modern touches. - a lovely dining room, good food, lovely lounge spaces and safe for all the residents. I recommend this home to all my friends!
