My mother in law came here from another care home. Once at Brailsford she thrived. She got to be her again and her personality came back. I honestly believe Brailsford House and the staff gave her a further year of her life. The staff were so compassionate both to her and us. They ensured her last Christmas
was extra special. Not once did we feel uncomfortable visiting or asking questions.

My wife Rosalind has been in Brailsford for the past 3 and half years, .
She has settled down in the home very well, and is very well looked after by all the staff there.
The staff are excellent with her needs, and all the carers are very friendly towards the family visitors and always I am welcomed
with a greetings when I visit Rosalind, To me the home has a homely feeling and Ii know that Rosalind happy which gives me the knowing that all is well with her.
The organise many activities for the residents to take part in from many art colouring, and decorations to enhance the lounge and dining rooms at times of Easter, Christmas.
The home has a service of communion each month together with helping the residents to enjoy ladies who sing, play games, and enjoy being together and dancing.
The home organises trips to coffee cafes, garden centres and in the summer time a trip to Cleethorpes to have fish and chips and enjoy the seaside
Altogether I find the home excellent in every way.
Reply from Katrina, Manager at Brailsford HouseThanks Chris for the review. Rosalind is a joy to have live at the home.

My mother recently passed away peacefully in her room at Beech Tree House, I have always been happy with the service she received at there. Regardless of mum's mood swings all the staff were patient and caring toward her. She passed with dignity in a caring environment for which I will be eternally
grateful. I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness and compassion and both staff and residents for their friendship.

I cannot speak highly enough of Beech House & every single member of staff. My husband went in for respite care at the end of November, the care he received was second to none they couldn't have been kinder to him or to me & our family. Nothing was too much trouble, it is absolutely a 'home from home'
the atmosphere is so good, the food is home cooked by the 'in house' chef. I completely understand why the current CQC rating is so high.

My Grandmother joined the Beech House family in November 2025. I have never known such caring, attentive, kind and nurturing staff. From the carers to the cleaners, cooks and management, every single staff member goes above and beyond for the Beech House residents. They're not just here for the residents,
I feel so welcome and they're always here for me and my family too and have helped us adjust to our new normal in the best way possible. The home itself is beautiful, clean and homely. I can't thank them enough. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Lovely staff, very helpful when entering so I was able to find my grandma on my first visit.
Also helpful when I asked if I could put the flowers I brought in her room.
Very clean bathrooms and lounges.
Grandma loves the stay, she has only been in a week for respite care after a medical emergency.
She has made the decision to stay in the home because she feels safe now rather than being alone at home.
She has told me about the wonderful activities like bingo and quizzes.

Beech House is an excellent house. Food is fantastic and wholesome and varied. The care staff are absolutely wonderful, nothing is to much trouble and they know their job.
The home itself is extremely clean and tidy, laundry service is brilliant. The bedrooms are very nice but you can mix in the lounges

Beech house care home have been absolutely incredible with the care they've shown my dad including the dignity and compassion shown to him and us in his final days.
We were able to spend a lot of time with him whilst also feeling very welcome.
All carers at beech house are wonderful, kind, caring
and professional.
My dad was as happy as he could be in his last days.
Carers have supported our family as well as my dad through everything.
I can't recall the name of everyone there unfortunately but I can recall that they are all angels.
The home is spotlessly clean, welcoming and fully equipped for everything residents could need. Rooms are all individual to each resident with their personal touches on the room. A real home from home.
I would recommend beech house to anyone, anytime.
Thankyou to you all

Our brother came into the care home for rehabilitation after a hip operation. He was in final stages of cancer, the staff understood his needs and looked after him with all his care needs taken into consideration. He celebrated his 70th birthday in the garden and passed his final hours there. All
the staff were truly amazing, so supportive and kind to my brother and us when we were visiting. Nothing seemed too much trouble and little acts of kindness were greatly appreciated - a huge thank you from all of us x

The staff are caring and conscientious. If a resident has any combination of disabilities together, like deafness and sight loss together with reducing skill with words, they are open to adapting their attitudes and processes as far as they can. They are happy to be supported by an attorney who they
acknowledge will know more about the resident than they do. We all know the present constraints of the health service but the friendliness, efficiency and welcome are still excellent. It is far beyond the worse performing homes, of which I have personal experience. We are very lucky to have Beech House Care Home in our small town. No one should worry about their relatives who have the chance to live here.
