I visit Dad weekly or fortnightly and always find the place friendly + staff welcoming There is always laughter + the staff are considerate to both residents + visitors

The staff at Edward House are quite simply the kindest people I have ever met. My Dad moved in in April due to health issues that meant he could no longer live alone, & from the very beginning, he has been shown the most incredible love & care. The people who work here truly care about the residents, always taking time to check in & chat with them to make sure they're ok. The food is outstanding & plentiful, made from scratch & with lots of options. Tea & biscuits flow constantly throughout the day, along with well planned activities for anyone feeling social. I was concerned that my Dad would find it difficult to move into a residential home, but the support has been amazing & he has told me several times that he 'absolutely loves it here & considers it his home'. My sister & I both live out of the country & I honestly don't know what we would've done without this place. We feel so lucky to have Dad happy & surrounded by good people who love on him like we would. Thank you so much!

The home is a credit to the industry and a credit to what the staff are doing. They are doing a fantastic job.

Mom stayed for four weeks while we went on holiday. I was worried as it was the first time I left Mom in a care home. Mom left the home in a better condition than when she went in. Staff were excellent and very caring. The special treatment was above and beyond what we expected. We are very thankful for the care she received.

My Grandad came for respite after a stay in hospital due to a fall. Knowing Grandad was being looked after gave me great peace of mind. The staff I met were lovely and very welcoming. The food looked and smelt amazing, I know Grandad enjoyed the meals! Thank you for all your help, you all do an amazing job.

Edward House continues to provide and display the most excellent standards of care throughout all areas. All staff from management to carers, trainees, kitchen and maintenance staff, provide and demonstrate a standard of care, that in my opinion is second to none. The residents are treated and cared for with a deep fondness and respect by all. Their individual needs, health, safety, security, welfare and leisure are catered for at all times. Through various means, from electronic seating and one to one monitoring, individual comforts are attended to.

My mum is very well looked after at Edward House and the staff are excellent and very caring in their approach to her needs.

I was comfortable and warm for the whole fortnight that I was with you. The staff in every department were friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the activities provided. The food was very good and beautifully prepared and served. It was a pity that the home had to be closed to visitors because of some infectious disease, but we all accepted this.

My mother was looked after very well for the two weeks she spent in the home. She was treated with respect and the staff were lovely. When she arrived she had some dietary issues but was much improved on leaving. She said the food was excellent and that she had enjoyed her time in the home. We would definately us the home again and would recommend it to anyone who asked.

Mum became a resident at Edward House in January 2017. Such was Mums state of health in January, we feared it would be a short stay and family braced themselves for the inevitable. By May Mum's health had been transformed. She is 92 and looks years younger.

Staff were friendly and helpful. He enjoyed most of the food. There could have been more supervision whether the patient was washing/showering himself and changing clothes regularly.
