The home has been refurbished and this helps to maintain a cheerful atmosphere both inside and in the garden.
I would be happy to see more emphasis on activities for the residents, with entertainment coming into the Home from specialist providers and from communal activities involving residents in a practical way. I have recently raised this issue with the Manager and am hopeful of progress in this regard.

As a volunteer with a voluntary service, I have set up a regular visit to the home with my registered therapy dog Maggie, a Golden Retriever. We were warmly received by both staff and residents on our first visit in January and hope to continue regular visits in the future.
