Mum became a resident in June this year and was very unhappy with having to move into a care home. The first few weeks were very difficult for Mum, family and staff. Mum was very uncooperative and challenging but the staff dealt with the situation in a very caring and considerate way. They managed to
provide quite a lot of extra 1-to-1 support time with Mum to help her settle in and feel at home. 8 weeks on and Mum is much more settled and feels well cared for at Ambleside Bank.

The family is very happy with the care my mother is receiving. The carers are always friendly and have a close bond with her. We are always updated with any issues relating to Mum and we feel they treat her like their own family. Any medical issues are dealt with immediately and we feel that our Mum
is in very good hands.

After a short stay in the hospital, I found this care home for my dad, and how pleased I was to find Ambleside Bank for him. From day 1, he was welcomed and given the care he required. When visiting my dad he would always comment on how friendly and caring the staff were to him, he especially looked
forward to his trips out and none more than when the staff took him to his grandson's pub as a surprise. Unfortunately on going into the dining room he fell backwards finishing up in hospital. All the staff that attended to him were great, but sadly he died in hospital 1 week later but not as a result of his fall. Once again many thanks to all the staff and I will certainly recommend Ambleside Bank Care Home. Many thanks.
