All the staff showed such care and compassion to my mum at the end of her life and towards us as a family. I greatly appreciate that she got to spend her last days here.
Mum's room looked out onto the beautiful surrounding greenery, which was calming and what she would have chosen if she could.
I
felt confident in the care provided and comforted knowing mum was in good hands.

My mother in law moved in to Ambleside around three months ago, we tried to care for her for as long as possible at home until we felt we could no longer it was becoming unsafe, this was the best decision as a family we made!
My mother in law loves living in this little safe haven, the manageress
& deputy assessed my mother in law in hospital and made her feel at ease instantly, they explained everything and made sure everything was right for her and us as a family.
The care and empathy the staff show is second to none, staff are always happy and smiling and are helpful when we visit. My Mother in law loves living at Ambleside, she said she wishes she had made the move years ago.
The activities and entertainment are fantastic, she has a new lease of life and it's so nice to see her so happy and content, as a family this is all we can ask for.
The home is spotlessly clean and has such a warming friendly atmosphere.

Thankyou and keep up the great work you all do!
Many thanks

My mum cared for my dad for several years following his Alzheimer's diagnosis, but this resulted in high levels of anxiety for her and our family. Following two heart attacks and a faster progression of his illness, he was brought from hospital to Mary Rose Manor. Dad was still able to do as he wished
within safe parameters, and we quickly saw a positive shift in his previously high levels of anxiety. For the first time in years, we felt less isolated, fully supported by the caring and knowledgeable team at Mary Rose Manor. I would highly recommend this nursing home, and we will never forget their kindness, compassion and support.

My Mum, went into Lytham Court, the eve of Mother's Day 29TH March 2025. It was such a relief to get her there after months of being in hospital environments.
My first experience was meeting the manager, she is truly so professional, she also has so much empathy and has a kind soul.
The staff are
truly wonderful with the care they give the residents. They are so dedicated, which can at times, from observing them be very challenging. They always greet me with such beautiful smiles and warmth. I am sure one of the reasons I am happy to go there is because the staff make me feel calm when there.
The whole team have embraced helping Mum settle and they always make sure she is sitting in her favourite chair by the patio.
The nursing and care Mum has is exceptional.
Very grateful.

My uncle has vascular dementia + due to this has been at Lytham Court since Jan 2025. He has settled well + all the staff are kind, friendly + caring. There is a calm atmosphere, plenty of activities if wanted and the management keep you informed of any issues. It is spotlessly clean, light, airy +

My Grandma moved in to Priory Court in October 2024. During September, my Grandma became seriously ill and the family were preparing for her final weeks. She had stopped eating and drinking, could no longer walk, was on oxygen, started with dementia and was very frail. My Grandma was discharged from
hospital to Priory Court with the expectation of end of life care to be needed within the next few weeks/months. Since living at Priory Court, she has made a remarkable change. She is alert, has her appetite back, is no longer on oxygen, participates with activities and her character is back! She enjoys interactions with the staff, and the staff behave professional and with respect, are approachable and accommodate her needs very well. The home has a friendly 'home-from-home' atmosphere and is spotless. We, as a family, are happy with the service that has been provided for my Grandma, but more importantly, she is too.

My family and I are very impressed throughout with the New Thursby Nurisng Home, St Anne's, Lancs, including the all important onboarding.
Attractive, highly considerate and competitive initial contracting, including an initial trial.
Being a purpose built and fairly compact nursing home with excellent
and tasteful furnishings and fittings, in what is an exceptionally pleasant location and happy environment for patients, staff and visitors alike.
Excellent communications, initiative and integrity with the home's Management, along with the Clinical Lead, Nursing and Care staff in face to face in person conversations, telephone and in quick and responsive emails. Great that there are Administrative staff to assist here too. The Entertainments Manageress is fun, energetic, creative and readily engages visitors too with her warm welcome.
I find it very reassuring for there to be a local St Anne's-On-The-Sea head office and all the high calibre that is bringing in various respects.
