After having been fairly independent at home, my mother was a resident at Primrose Villa Care Home for the last 9 months of her life. She celebrated her 100th birthday while she was there. Her physical problems were many and her memory was failing. The care she received was exemplary; all the carers
worked with patience, humour and sympathy. I got to know them all on my regular visits when I was made to feel very welcome. I witnessed that all residents were treated in the same thoughtful way. In her last days, the staff could not do enough for her or for family visitors. I have my name down for admission in the not-so-distant future!

Primrose Villa is a very friendly care home. Staff are extremely friendly and caring. The home has also benefited from a new manager who seems to be making a big difference. Everything is much more welcoming, especially externally.

My sister has been in the care home for a few years now. Staff are very caring and know each resident by name. They know when my sister is having an off day. They keep me informed of any issues or concerns that have arisen with her. She is well cared for and clean. I find the staff very helpful and
caring of all residents.

A new manager has been appointed and she is revamping the premises, putting on activities for the residents. Plenty of changes for the better. It is a very caring home and would recommend this care home to anyone.

My mother in law’s general health was deteriorating and needed supervised care, she never wanted to go in a home so the decision to place her in one was extremely difficult. However, within a few days, she was settled, she was made welcome by both staff and residents, she was treated with dignity, respect,
love and affection. We as a family were happy to see her so settled, comfortable and safe. She became unwell and was admitted to the infirmary, but thankfully returned to Primrose Villa where she died surrounded by friendly faces and familiar voices. I can’t thank the lovely staff enough for the care given to Mum.

Mum is treated with dignity and seems to be a different woman since coming to Primrose Villa Care Home. Great communication with lovely staff - nothing is too much for them. This is genuinely a home from home. Haven't seen mum this content in a long time. On the day of mum's arrival, she was straight
into the craft afternoon and loved it.
