Abbeyfield is a dementia-friendly home with an inclusive and accessible environment that supports residents of all physical abilities. The team encourages social interaction and a strong sense of community, ensuring everyone feels respected and included.
Activities and entertainment play an important role in daily life, helping residents enjoy companionship, stimulation, and variety. In warmer weather, residents can also enjoy the fully accessible garden, complete with raised flower beds and a patio area ideal for relaxation and socialising.
Our weekly fees are assessed on an individual needs basis and are dependent on the level of care required (standard, medium or high care package) as well as the type of room selected (basic, standard, double or superior room).

My mum has been very well looked after and is much happier than when she was in her own home. She has regular contact with carers throughout the day, all of whom she likes and are very kind to her. The food is excellent. As a family, we could not be happier with the service provided.

My Mother and Father are both resident at Abbeyfield. It is an excellent care home with wonderful staff who are very kind and caring. My parents have separate en-suite rooms and the whole site is very spacious with a number of different areas to sit, including a big garden. The residents are encouraged to take part in a range of activities. Mum and Dad like the food, are comfortable, and feel very settled at Abbeyfield.

The staff are attentive and caring and do what they can to meet not only my father's needs but his 'wishes' too. Most days he enjoys a walk around the garden which has been thoughtfully planned to provide interest for the residents. The staff also make the effort to provide activities for all different interests.

I spent one week in Abbeyfield House for respite care. I absolutely loved it. The home was spotless, the staff were stupendous and the food was excellent. I am very much hoping I shall be able to go there again. A wonderful home run very efficiently by all the staff. Many thanks.
