The Belmont is one of the best we have seen, over the years with relatives we have had some poor experiences. Sam the manager has been Excellent with us and the staff very good with the needs of my Dad. Mum likes Cozmin because he is always happy & helpful. Overall the family rate this home The Belmont Excellent. Couldnt be happier.

My 79 year olf wife entered Belmont 5 weeks ago, after many weeks in hospital, she was quite poorly & very weak, as the hospital did very little for her.

The staff at Belmont have been wonderful, & litteraly brought her back to life, forever grateful

My 79 year old mother was discharged from hospital 5 weeks ago. My immediate family had 3 goals; get her to eat, get her to walk and get her back on the loo! The hospital, after 6 weeks got none of the goals achieved, Belmont have got all 3 sorted, not by bullying, but by encouragement and genuine caring. I'm not having a pop at the hospital, they have hundreds of patients to look after, but the team at Belmont are so attentive and listen to our aims, that I'm sure she'll be discharged very soon. We chose well!

Thank you so much for your lovely review and kind words.
I still remember meeting your mum for the first time during the preadmission visit at the hospital. She was such a lovely lady, and it was clear how much your family wanted the very best for her recovery.

My mum has been staying at Belmont Care Home in Longridge and I'm really pleased with the care she's receiving. The staff are all so kind, friendly and approachable they always make you feel welcome and nothing is ever too much trouble.
Since the new management came in, there's been a real positive change. Especially Sam the young lad in management he's very polite, listens properly and always makes sure things get sorted. You can tell he genuinely cares about the residents and their families.

It's a lovely, caring home and I feel very reassured knowing my mum is so well looked after. Thank you to everyone at Belmont.

My father spent about 3 months living in Belmont care home.
The team of staff at the Belmont were very caring and friendly and my Father very much enjoyed his time there. He especially commented on the food.
When we first visited we were impressed with how the rooms are laid out, all on one floor as it allows residents to see each other and feel included.
We want to thank the team and also recommend the Belmont to anyone who is looking for a care home with a homey feel.

Thank you.

My mother was a resident between 2nd September 23 - 9th Sept 24 in this time both mum and I were very happy. and felt part of a big family residents and staff. I have carried on visiting the home to see friends we made. Sadly things changed from the end of Sept. No management or administration and the atmosphere became strained. However mid December a new manager came and things started to improve. I love Belmont and would move in tomorrow if I had to they made my last 12 months with my mum memorable. Its not perfect but its home.

I've now had three grandparents in this home within the last eighteen months, each with different physical and/or dementia care requirements, and I cannot express my gratitude for the staff more. I have noticed that the staff always work tremendously hard. Most importantly, they are kind and can't do enough for the residents, so professional yet warm and gentle. My grandparents have grown to love some individual staff members like family and we trust them implicitly. There are daily activities or entertainers, delicious meals and friendly faces everywhere. The carers, laundry team, cleaners, cooks etc., are all so accommodating and helpful. The staff make this care home and I would definitely recommend it for this reason.

During these troubled times and staff shortages, we are still receiving the best care possible. The restrictions are affecting everyone, and it is difficult to keep upbeat all the time but also have some laughs. The staff are wonderful in spite of working long hours and being exhausted.

Our care home is very busy with over 40 residents. There is a good atmosphere and the carers are very helpful, and we have a very good cook. We are being tested every day during the pandemic; the downside, we have no visitors.

My father came to Belmont on recommendation from a friend whose mother had been so well looked after at Belmont. My Dad settled straight away and soon made good relationships with his carers. Our experience of the staff at Belmont is always excellent despite the challenges they face looking after him. They are professional, kind and obviously care a great deal about him. Our family are so grateful that he has his 'family' at Belmont, especially in these difficult times of lockdown and not being able to visit him to keep everyone safe. Thank you, everyone!

Belmont looks after my mum and being one of three sons, all now no longer resident in Lancashire, it is reassuring to know that she gets such good care. The manager and staff are top-notch - professional, caring and mindful of individual resident requirements. They also support our dad around any concerns he has relating to his wife, who has now had to be in a care setting for a number of years. I do wish everyone well in the current challenging times and hope that all in Belmont are managing with the additional challenges that the current pandemic has brought to our country as a whole.

The care home looks after my wife to a very high standard. Whilst I live 17 miles away I cannot attend as often as I would like, but I telephone the staff most days. They are very considerate and provide with a huge peace of mind knowing my wife is being cared for so well.

I find the home superb in a number of ways.
My mother has just been there a year now and looks far better now at 89 than this time last year.
She is eating well and is very happy in the moment, as her memory is not the best.
The home provides her with a lot of entertainment and activities that I thoroughly enjoy.
I now plan my day around "What's on at Belmont"!!

So I cannot praise all staff enough as I find everything fine.

My mother has been a resident in Belmont for the last twelve months.
Admission to care became necessary when her ability to function in her home, despite several visits a day by family, due to short term memory loss, confusion, unsteadiness etc
Since her admission, despite her frailties we have seen how physically well she has become and how much happier and positive to wanting to live.

This is obviously down to the very high quality of care she is receiving, being well-nourished, clean and tidy, stimulated by conversations with staff and fellow residents, entertainments and outings.

Reply from Andrew Bradley-Gibbons, Regional Manager at Belmont
HI Dianne
I am sorry you feel this way about the staffing, but I am pleased that you would still recommend the home to others. Please do not hesitate to discuss any staffing concerns with the Home Manager, I can confirm that the staffing ratio was not raised as a concern during the recent CQC inspection that rated the home as overall Good.

Kind regards
