The Belmont is one of the best we have seen, over the years with relatives we have had some poor experiences. Sam the manager has been Excellent with us and the staff very good with the needs of my Dad. Mum likes Cozmin because he is always happy & helpful. Overall the family rate this home The Belmont Excellent. Couldnt be happier.

My 79 year old mother was discharged from hospital 5 weeks ago. My immediate family had 3 goals; get her to eat, get her to walk and get her back on the loo! The hospital, after 6 weeks got none of the goals achieved, Belmont have got all 3 sorted, not by bullying, but by encouragement and genuine caring. I'm not having a pop at the hospital, they have hundreds of patients to look after, but the team at Belmont are so attentive and listen to our aims, that I'm sure she'll be discharged very soon. We chose well!

My Dad moved to Balmoral from hospital to receive palliative care. I cannot thank the staff enough for the kindness and care shown to my Dad in his final days. Everyone we came into contact with were friendly and compassionate.

My husband moved to Balmoral after a hospital stay for a 4 week assessment. We had never been to see the care home and I was very anxious and worried about my husband moving into an unknown care home. We were immediately impressed by the warm welcome and how friendly and caring all the staff are. The activity team work hard to ensure the residents who are able to engage in activities are kept busy. My husbands medical condition means that he is rapidly deteriorating and the nursing and care staff have made sure he has everything he needs and respond quickly to his changing requirements. I feel lucky that we were sent here for my husbands assessment and that there was a room available for him to make this his permanent home.

It's a lovely, caring home and I feel very reassured knowing my mum is so well looked after. Thank you to everyone at Belmont.

The activities programme is excellent, a lot of Mum's friends in other care homes are quite envious of her. Compared to how Mum was when she arrived here (very confused and antisocial) she is 1000% better, enjoying her surroundings and engaging with people and activities. I would highly recommend Balmoral.

All the residents are really well cared for and checked upon. There is plenty of food and drink for all. All the staff are friendly and very helpful

Good activities "going on" for the residents.

Mum is happy living in Balmoral. Staff are always friendly and caring. Mum is always clean & well presented. The lounge & bedrooms are clean & the entertainment keeps the residents occupied & moving around.

I would definetly recomend Balmoral Care Home.

I have to say i found the nurses, care staff & admin staff extremley friendly, proffessional & caring to my dad & myself. Nothing was to much trouble they even popped in & had a chat with him occassionally. Thankyou for looking after him & making an old man happy x

My mother was a resident between 2nd September 23 - 9th Sept 24 in this time both mum and I were very happy. and felt part of a big family residents and staff. I have carried on visiting the home to see friends we made. Sadly things changed from the end of Sept. No management or administration and the atmosphere became strained. However mid December a new manager came and things started to improve. I love Belmont and would move in tomorrow if I had to they made my last 12 months with my mum memorable. Its not perfect but its home.

Mu husband moved in March 2025. He is so settled. The caring staff are excellent and the management are too. Nothing is too much trouble. It has a lovely atmosphere and I feel happy that he is in a caring, clean and positive environment.

It's deeply reassuring that my brother lives in a warm and caring environment with excellent 24 hour care and support.

We had a home maintenance urgency and my mother-in-law came to The Chanters for respite care while it was all sorted. Words cannot express how wonderful the home, staff and residents are. From walking into the front door the feeling you get is so warm and welcoming, we think you're all fabulous and do a fantastic job.

The care provided but the staff is brilliant. Very professional and caring. I love the activities arranged by the coordinators. The admin staff are so efficient and friendly. The home is clean, welcoming and safe for the residents and visitors.

I've now had three grandparents in this home within the last eighteen months, each with different physical and/or dementia care requirements, and I cannot express my gratitude for the staff more. I have noticed that the staff always work tremendously hard. Most importantly, they are kind and can't do enough for the residents, so professional yet warm and gentle. My grandparents have grown to love some individual staff members like family and we trust them implicitly. There are daily activities or entertainers, delicious meals and friendly faces everywhere. The carers, laundry team, cleaners, cooks etc., are all so accommodating and helpful. The staff make this care home and I would definitely recommend it for this reason.

My mother is a really changed lady since she has been in this care home. She has severe dementia and it's amazing how she has been treated by all the lovely staff there. When visiting Mum you are made to feel very welcome. Lovely caring staff and this is what makes Spring Field so special. Thanks so much.
