My husband moved to Balmoral after a hospital stay for a 4 week assessment. We had never been to see the care home and I was very anxious and worried about my husband moving into an unknown care home. We were immediately impressed by the warm welcome and how friendly and caring all the staff are. The
activity team work hard to ensure the residents who are able to engage in activities are kept busy. My husbands medical condition means that he is rapidly deteriorating and the nursing and care staff have made sure he has everything he needs and respond quickly to his changing requirements. I feel lucky that we were sent here for my husbands assessment and that there was a room available for him to make this his permanent home.

My mum has been staying at Belmont Care Home in Longridge and I'm really pleased with the care she's receiving. The staff are all so kind, friendly and approachable they always make you feel welcome and nothing is ever too much trouble.
Since the new management came in, there's been a real positive
change. Especially Sam the young lad in management he's very polite, listens properly and always makes sure things get sorted. You can tell he genuinely cares about the residents and their families.
It's a lovely, caring home and I feel very reassured knowing my mum is so well looked after. Thank you to everyone at Belmont.

As a family we are delighted with the care Mum receives at Balmoral. The staff are always friendly and helpful and there are plenty of people available to speak to if you want to discuss anything.
The activities programme is excellent, a lot of Mum's friends in other care homes are quite envious of
her. Compared to how Mum was when she arrived here (very confused and antisocial) she is 1000% better, enjoying her surroundings and engaging with people and activities. I would highly recommend Balmoral.

Very nice, bright reception area.
Tastefully decorated. Very helpful manager and admin staff.
Always evidence of the staff cleaning, and ongoing refurbs and decorating.
Staff on my wifes 'section' very helpful, and caring.
Good activities "going on" for the residents.

My dad was in this care home, following discharge from hosp, prior to being assessed by CHC.
I have to say i found the nurses, care staff & admin staff extremley friendly, proffessional & caring to my dad & myself. Nothing was to much trouble they even popped in & had a chat with him occassionally.

My father spent about 3 months living in Belmont care home.
The team of staff at the Belmont were very caring and friendly and my Father very much enjoyed his time there. He especially commented on the food.
When we first visited we were impressed with how the rooms are laid out, all on one floor
as it allows residents to see each other and feel included.
We want to thank the team and also recommend the Belmont to anyone who is looking for a care home with a homey feel.

My mother was a resident between 2nd September 23 - 9th Sept 24 in this time both mum and I were very happy. and felt part of a big family residents and staff. I have carried on visiting the home to see friends we made. Sadly things changed from the end of Sept. No management or administration and the
atmosphere became strained. However mid December a new manager came and things started to improve. I love Belmont and would move in tomorrow if I had to they made my last 12 months with my mum memorable. Its not perfect but its home.

Mu husband moved in March 2025. He is so settled. The caring staff are excellent and the management are too. Nothing is too much trouble. It has a lovely atmosphere and I feel happy that he is in a caring, clean and positive environment.

The care provided but the staff is brilliant. Very professional and caring. I love the activities arranged by the coordinators. The admin staff are so efficient and friendly. The home is clean, welcoming and safe for the residents and visitors.

I've now had three grandparents in this home within the last eighteen months, each with different physical and/or dementia care requirements, and I cannot express my gratitude for the staff more. I have noticed that the staff always work tremendously hard. Most importantly, they are kind and can't do
enough for the residents, so professional yet warm and gentle. My grandparents have grown to love some individual staff members like family and we trust them implicitly. There are daily activities or entertainers, delicious meals and friendly faces everywhere. The carers, laundry team, cleaners, cooks etc., are all so accommodating and helpful. The staff make this care home and I would definitely recommend it for this reason.

My mum has been at Springfield Nursing Home for a year and a half, she said to me she likes it here and I like to come and see my mum, the staff and management are the best and the care is great, it is the best nursing home, you can talk to the staff who tell you how your family are doing, my mum's
