The building, similar to many other homes, may not have the amenities of modern homes; however, I am more than content my wife was very well cared for.

Overall experience, extremely satisfied. Staff keep us up to date on my dad's welfare etc. They are quick to help if we have any concerns. The residents have daily activities they can do which are very good (each day has different activities).

My father went into Fern Hill House Care Home in December, receiving excellent care. The staff are patient and kind. We knew of Fern Hill House Care Home from past friends. Meals are good and there are activities if they want to join in. Cannot think of anything negative to say. They are all heroes.

My mum point-blank refused to go into a home, but the managers convinced her to go down for fish and chips and she absolutely loved it. She ended up staying the weekend and now she's still there and refuses to come out. She loves every minute of it and the staff are so lovely and helpful. There are things to do there, keep the residents entertained, which is good for my mum as she has Alzheimer's. She went on a trip to Blackpool and loved every single minute of it too. All we ever wanted was for Mum to be happy and we have found that in this home.

My brother has lived at the home for two and a half years. The staff have been kind and helpful, and made him feel at home and part of the family. Whilst he has been ill they have looked after him marvelously and supported us in this difficult time.

Excellent care home, staff are excellent and very friendly. My Aunty is really happy there, and very well looked after. The home is very modern, clean, tidy and the catering is fantastic. They cater for us at all times when we want to visit.

My mum has been at Fern Hill House Care Home for the past 3 years. The Manager and staff treat residents with love and kindness like they are their own families with dignity and respect being maintained at all times. The staff and manager let families know and update them on any changes that may occur with family members and any concerns they may have. Any news or events is placed on a social media website for family members to attend and all are welcome. My mum has also made some lovely friends while there and seeing this makes me very happy knowing that she is happy and content.

Basic care home complimented by great staff and management.

My father has been a resident for around 1 year now and Fernhill have done a good job with his care. The staff is attentive and we have easy communication and feedback when requested. Never judge a book by its cover stands true here. Thanks to everyone at Fernhill who make my father's life better.

My husband has been in this care home since August 2017. I couldn't ask for a better place for him. The staff are very professional, caring and very polite to the residents and their family. I'm even asked to have a meal with him which I do a couple of times a week.

When I visit my mother, she is always clean and now classes Fern Hill as "her home" so I know I leave her in good hands so thank you to all the staff.

I have lived here for ten years. It is a great place to live. I have no problems with the care I receive.

I have lived at Fern Hill House for three months. I like it very much. The staff are brilliant. They can't do enough for me. The food is lovely and the other residents are nice.
