Following surgery and illness and at the age of 94, Mum was discharged from the hospital to Greenways for a period of assessment. She was found to require 24-hour care at a higher level and was sadly not able to return to her own home. Mum was cared for sensitively and diligently by the lovely team
at Greenways. Each and every member of staff that we saw were kind, caring and thoughtful in their care delivery, supported when needed by the district nurses. We were kept informed by the manager or senior carers and we were allowed to visit the home within Covid limitations. We found there to be a very caring ethos at Greenways and this was apparent in all the members that we saw during Mum's time with them. They were also very supportive of the family. This was particularly helpful around the period when Mum sadly passed away.

My 94-year-old mother was discharged from the hospital to Greenways Rest Home for assessment following a fall in her own home which resulted in a broken shaft of the femur. She remained mentally alert until her death. She suffered from a wide range of chronic conditions which she had battled with for
many years. The assessments showed that Greenways was well placed to meet her needs and I fully agreed. As her daughter, I was given all the information I asked for and was able to visit her with safe Covid practices. From the beginning of her stay, all the staff in the home cared for her with sensitivity and very able practical skills. Although she only lived for six weeks following her serious fall, she told me she was comfortable and confident that she was being well cared for. She continued to dream of returning to her own home at some point but she became increasingly comfortable with the excellent end of life care she received until she passed away peacefully.

My grandma has been at Greenways for a few months now and she has really settled in. The staff are so friendly and I can see my grandma as much as I like through the window and a visit with the restrictions. She always looks well cared for and she always says how nice the food is. Thank you to everyone!

I am staying at Greenways for six weeks respite and the care was outstanding, and the food was lovely. The only thing is the home lacks a tuc-shop ad I have mentioned this to the manager who is very helpful, and he has assured me he is going to put one in place and thanked me for my input. Thank you

I haven't been able to visit my uncle due to the pandemic and coronavirus. I was thrilled to be allowed to come and visit him. My uncle looked well cared for and full of life. The home has a new manager since I last went to the home, and the manager was approachable and friendly. I could see and feel
a positive vibe through the home and I was very impressed with the new décor. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work during such a terrible time.

Obviously, I have not seen much of my mother during the past 12 months, but when I do speak to her, she always assures me that she is well looked after and that she is warm and the food is good. The staff keep me informed of her wellbeing and they are very obliging. There seems to have been a higher
standard of care during the past few months, which I am sure must have been trying, given the Covid situation.

Mum has been at Greenways Rest Home for almost 12 months now, she was constantly being visited until Covid struck, we always found Mum to be clean and tidy, warm and well fed. Mum seems really happy there, the staff are always looking out for her and ensuring she has her music etc to keep her calm,
happy and smiling, as she suffers from Alzheimer’s and gets really agitated and upset. During the pandemic, the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure their residents are safe and well, and I have no doubt given up their own free time to help, which is truly appreciated by my family and I am sure by the families of all the residents. They’ve all been our saviours, as Mum was no longer able to stay safely at home, we know all too well how hard it is as we looked after her for quite a few years, day and night, absolutely amazing staff!

My grandma has been in Greenways for around one year and I have always been very happy with the care she receives. It's a hard time at the moment, not being able to visit her often. The staff are very pleasant and the manager is always sending us updates and emails weekly to let us know what is happening.

My Mum has only been in Greenways since December 14th 2020. I was impressed with the process for her admittance and the professionalism of the Manager. The staff have been welcoming and are very caring towards my mother. Since becoming a resident, there has only been one issue of concern re night care
responses but this was dealt with immediately and her care has generally been of an excellent standard. The staff are helpful and positive in their approach in these difficult times.

My mum has always been very happy at Greenways. The staff are always very polite and caring and nothing seems too much trouble. My mum always says "you only need to ask and they get you anything" She smiles when she sees them. She also says the food is very good. The home is clean and warm.

We have found this nursing home to be extremely well staffed with the staff always pleasant and accommodating, both to us and to the residents. From the onset, my father was made to feel very welcome and there are always plenty of staff around to attend to the residents should they need assistance.
His bedroom is fairly basic but good enough.
My father's clothing always seems to be in order and he is always nicely presented, which we know is due to the staff as he was wearing two vests, three shirts and two jumpers altogether before he went in the home when he was looking after himself! There are several different lounges and a large conservatory so residents can go to a quiet room, one with TV on or sit in the conservatory. We are very pleased with how my father has settled in and also how happy he is.

My stepmother has been well cared for whilst she has been at Greenways. The staff and management are fantastic. They have always a smile on their face and all have a caring nature. The food is very good. The only recommendation would be for it to be redecorated/modernised. I would highly recommend this
home to others.

Mum has been in Greenways Rest Home for a few months now. It took her a while to settle but the staff have been fantastic with her, we would recommend Greenways Rest Home to anyone who is looking for a care home. Mum has Alzheimer's and can be very challenging but they have so much patience with her.
The food is also very nice and there's never a shortage of cups of tea!

My husband moved into this home on the second of October 2017 due to dementia and lack of mobility. The staff are extremely caring and treat each resident as an individual.
He has settled far better than I could believe possible and it is a very comfortable and homely atmosphere. I am very glad I found
this home as I do not think I could find better.

My mother has dementia which has worsened significantly since she arrived at the home. I have found the staff to be patient and diligent with my mother whom can be very awkward because of her condition.
