Greenways Rest Home

My father's clothing always seems to be in order and he is always nicely presented, which we know is due to the staff as he was wearing two vests, three shirts and two jumpers altogether before he went in the home when he was looking after himself! There are several different lounges and a large conservatory so residents can go to a quiet room, one with TV on or sit in the conservatory. We are very pleased with how my father has settled in and also how happy he is.

My stepmother has been well cared for whilst she has been at Greenways. The staff and management are fantastic. They have always a smile on their face and all have a caring nature. The food is very good. The only recommendation would be for it to be redecorated/modernised. I would highly recommend this home to others.

Mum has been in Greenways Rest Home for a few months now. It took her a while to settle but the staff have been fantastic with her, we would recommend Greenways Rest Home to anyone who is looking for a care home. Mum has Alzheimer's and can be very challenging but they have so much patience with her. The food is also very nice and there's never a shortage of cups of tea!

He has settled far better than I could believe possible and it is a very comfortable and homely atmosphere. I am very glad I found this home as I do not think I could find better.

I have every confidence and complete trust in the staff and the management of the home.

The Manager and staff are always very friendly and approachable. They took the time to get to know my uncle and accommodate his personality, likes and dislikes. He is very happy at Greenways and is well cared for.

My mum and I are both happy with all the care she receives. The staff are all very helpful and caring.

The home is very clean neat and tidy whenever I visit. My mother gets along well with all the residents she enjoys the tasty meals too! She especially enjoys the entertainment by visiting artists and joins in the singing. She also participates in any activities in the home. I am happy that my mother is living in a home that is secure too.

Very positive. Was told in detail by the manager the care given to my husband. I was invited to express any concerns (if any) and to ask any questions regarding his care.

I have always been satisfied with the care my Mum has received while she has been at Greenways. Caring for people with dementia is not to be under-estimated and I have great respect for the staff here who provide a good level of care in a safe environment. My Mum's care plan has changed over the years due to her deterioration, both with her dementia and general health. However, the manager/manageress have always prioritised her needs and bent over backwards in order for her to return to "her home" following hospital admission and provide her with every comfort they are able by implementing any changes to her care plan that have been recommended by hospital staff, due to changes in her health.

The physical and pastoral care my mother received at Greenways is excellent. All members of staff are caring and appropriately affectionate. The activities are varied and age relevant and everyone is encouraged to join in. Her medical care is regularly reviewed with myself and I am consulted and included in all relevant decisions. The staff are welcoming to family and friends and are always willings to have a chat about any concerns I may have regarding mum's diet (diabetic).

I've been very happy with my wife being at Greenways, she is looked after with great care. I am very happy with the care staff, knowing my wife is safe and sound.

All of this helps both the resident and the family members to relax with their situation.

My mum stopped here for 10 days respite. The staff where brilliant, so much so mum normally does not like to go into respite but she has stated she would return. All the staff treated the residents with the utmost respect.
