Greenways Rest Home is managed and owned by Ark Care Services and aims to provide residents with care a comfort in a homely and caring atmosphere.

Greenways has a high staff to resident ratio and staff specialise in providing all service users and residents with high-quality care.

Residents have colour televisions in their rooms and access to hairdresser visits, as well as a private chiropodist, physiotherapist, optician and dentist.

My mother has dementia which has worsened significantly since she arrived at the home. I have found the staff to be patient and diligent with my mother whom can be very awkward because of her condition.
I have every confidence and complete trust in the staff and the management of the home.

Greenways is a very friendly care home and the staff are very good with all patients' needs. A variety of activities take place from time to time which is good for all. Food and cleanliness are of a good standard.

The Manager and staff are always very friendly and approachable. They took the time to get to know my uncle and accommodate his personality, likes and dislikes. He is very happy at Greenways and is well cared for.

I am very happy with the care shown to my mother since she moved into the home late 2015. My mother appears to be happy and has praise for all the carers in everything they do for her.
The home is very clean neat and tidy whenever I visit. My mother gets along well with all the residents she enjoys
the tasty meals too! She especially enjoys the entertainment by visiting artists and joins in the singing. She also participates in any activities in the home. I am happy that my mother is living in a home that is secure too.

I have always been satisfied with the care my Mum has received while she has been at Greenways. Caring for people with dementia is not to be under-estimated and I have great respect for the staff here who provide a good level of care in a safe environment. My Mum's care plan has changed over the years
due to her deterioration, both with her dementia and general health. However, the manager/manageress have always prioritised her needs and bent over backwards in order for her to return to "her home" following hospital admission and provide her with every comfort they are able by implementing any changes to her care plan that have been recommended by hospital staff, due to changes in her health.

The physical and pastoral care my mother received at Greenways is excellent. All members of staff are caring and appropriately affectionate. The activities are varied and age relevant and everyone is encouraged to join in. Her medical care is regularly reviewed with myself and I am consulted and included
in all relevant decisions. The staff are welcoming to family and friends and are always willings to have a chat about any concerns I may have regarding mum's diet (diabetic).

After a less than satisfactory previous placement, Greenways is a breath of fresh air.
The staff are all friendly and really care about and respect the residents. The home is run with a good routine but still retains a homely attitude.
There are activities that the residents can participate in
every day and visitors such as singers to keep them entertained.
Anything slightly challenging is dealt with efficiently and with no fuss.
All of this helps both the resident and the family members to relax with their situation.

My mum stopped here for 10 days respite. The staff where brilliant, so much so mum normally does not like to go into respite but she has stated she would return. All the staff treated the residents with the utmost respect.
