My dad stayed here for 2-3 weeks for respite. The assistance given from the senior staff prior to admission was excellent, they fully understood the needs and requirements including his vegetarian diet which they made provisions to ensure that his food options were more than adequate. My brother was moved to Valley View from another care home. The difference in him is hugh... before he was sleeping all the time. His head was lowered - never had his glass's on. With over 30 years of experience in the care sector, Vicky is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care that enables people to live fulfilling, safe, and independent lives.
Her career began in a care home at the age of 15, inspired by her mother, who served in the ambulance service for 33 years, and her grandmother, who worked in home care. She later spent nine years in the ambulance service before returning to residential care while completing an Honours Degree in Health and Social Care with the Open University.
Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to supporting residents with compassion, dignity, and respect. She is committed to creating a positive environment where both residents and colleagues feel valued.
