All the staff are very good and very caring with the residents. Staff are very consistent in taking great care to see all the residents needs are met. The place is clean and tidy and overall a friendly place. A couple of occasions I have found it difficult to locate a member of staff, but overall I feel confident that my mum is being well cared for, which has helped us all in accepting our mother going into care. Really couldn't wish for a nicer place under the circumstances.

Mum has been made too feel welcome and is settling in, she has been transferred to the doctor, and has been visited, as we speak my mum is been visited by the local preacher and is having communion in her room, this is very welcome.

As a daughter, being very involved with the care of my mum, I have always had excellent experiences of the home until the original manager left after 14 years, and also an excellent male deputy left. Then another manager was employed who also left. Tepary managers come in and also left. The home now is being run by a temporary manager and a new manager. The change is brilliant and noticeable.
We now have a new management team led by Emma, and I am confident the home will continue to improve the care we deliver to our residents.

Over 14-years of visiting my resident contact (service user), I have experienced a very satisfactory and considerate overall satisfaction of the treatment and care of duty my friend is being given. The activities provision has recently been increasing with weekly fitness sessions and outside singers coming into the home as restrictions generally have been easing.

Starting as a Care Assistant in July 2016, Emma has worked her way through various roles and qualifications within both residential and nursing settings – resulting in her accepting her first Home Manager’s role within St Armands Court back in June 2022. Emma enjoys all aspects of her role as a Home Manager and has a particular passion for End of Life Care. After completing work experience in a local care home whilst at school, Lauren thoroughly enjoyed working in the care setting, providing the best care for the service users. Lauren enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know more about their life history- the stories of the residents moved her, and she felt a strong sense of purpose in providing not just assistance, but companionship and understanding that they truly deserve.
Lauren started working at St Armands Court in 2014, where she has continuously learned and developed her skills. Lauren started as a care assistant and completed a Level 2 NVQ. She worked her way up to becoming a Senior Care Assistant, whereby she completed a Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Qualification. When the opportunity to become the Deputy Manager within St Armands Court arose, she took the opportunity to fulfil the position, as she feels proud to lead a team that shares her vision of providing exceptional care.
