I can't recommend Hollys Care Home highly enough. The staff are consistently kind, caring, compassionate and incredibly hard-working. They go above and beyond every single day, treating every resident with dignity, respect and genuine warmth.

The management team are fantastic-always approachable, supportive and committed to providing the very best care. They not only look after their residents but also offer reassurance and support to families, which means so much.

Knowing my family member is in such safe and caring hands gives us complete peace of mind. If you're looking for a care home where your loved one will be truly cared for, Hollys Care Home is a wonderful choice. Thank you to the entire team for everything you do.

Mum spent several years under the care of St. Armand's care home in Garforth.
Mum was very happy and well looked after during her stay there. The staff were always so friendly and welcoming, to both visitors and residents, no matter what time you visited, and nothing was too much trouble.

The staff are all very capable and knowledgeable in their various roles.

Mum spent the last 5 years of her life in the care of St Armand's court.
When mum first entered the care home she had difficulty walking within short time she was walking about freely with the use of a Zimmer frame down to the lounge area.
Mum had her up and down days and other issues these were handled caringly, dignified and professionally by all the staff.
The meals were always well balanced, freshly made and always looked very appetising with a choice from the menu for each day.
Mums room was always kept clean, tidy and fresh plus an extra touch of mums photo and name on the door.
The staff are special people caring for around 40 residents 24/7 with personal individual attention as if they were their own loved ones.

Mum passed away at the age of 100 years with amazing dignified care from all staff at St Armand's court.

I would highly recommend St Armand's court to anyone looking for expert care of their loved ones.

Very impressed with all the staff and their reactiveness in admitting my mum at short notice and for been so accommodating. Took my mum for a visit, which was very professionally handled. Admitting my mum was a very easy decision to make - getting my mums belongings into the home was an easy process helped by Mike. Mum has been made too feel welcome and is settling in, she has been transferred to the doctor, and has been visited, as we speak my mum is been visited by the local preacher and is having communion in her room, this is very welcome.

My mum has been a resident for 9 months and has always been treated with care and compassion. The Hollies encourage the residents to take part in daily activities at their own pace and capabilities. When I visit, everyone is friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble: management are always available to listen and act upon any worries or concerns about my mum's condition.

I'm so grateful for the care my nana receives at this home. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring, and it's clear they truly want to be there. They treat residents with kindness, patience, and respect, which gives our family real peace of mind. There are always activities taking place, helping residents stay engaged, social, and happy. My nana is encouraged to join in and enjoy her days, which means a lot to us. Communication is excellent too - we're always contacted if there are any incidents or concerns, and the staff keep us well informed and reassured. It's comforting to know she's in a safe, supportive environment where her wellbeing is a priority. We're so happy with the care provided and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be truly looked after and valued every day.

My mother moved to the Hollies after a spell somewhere else which she did not enjoy. She is much happier now and my brother and I are 100% confident that she is in the best place for her, that she is secure, safe and well cared for. The staff are lovely, endlessly patient and very welcoming - nothing is too much trouble. The management are very responsive and helpful too, the facility is spotlessly clean (I am a CQC registered manager and I know what I am looking for!) and we have seen an enormous pick up in appetite due to the excellent, home cooked catering. We are very grateful to the whole team there for the care she is receiving, which is personalised to her and the team have gone to a lot of trouble to understand her, her needs and her personality and interest - the relatively small size of the home means the staff have the time to do this. Thanks to everyone at the Hollies.

I am the daughter of a resident of St Armand's.
I have always found all the staff very caring, flexible & honest, nothing is too much trouble. They are very patient and understanding of patients and of family members and always keep us informed of any changes good or bad in mums habits or behaviour and all medical issues.
When the time comes, family members are allowed to stop at the home too to be with mum so that it is less distressing for her.
Well done to all the very hardworking people who work there, thankyou from

Anne.

My experience with St Armands has been overwhelmingly positive. From the moment I first visited, I was welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine sense of care. The staff go above and beyond to make residents feel safe, respected, and at home.
The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. There's a great range of activities to keep residents engaged socially and mentally, although Mum doesn't always participate!!! I enjoy seeing what everyone has been up to on the social media page :)
What stands out for me and is the most important of all is the dedication of the carers. They take time to build real relationships with the residents, treating them with empathy just like family. Communication is excellent, and I feel well informed and involved. Mum feels safe, secure and well cared for and that is the most important thing to us.
I have peace of mind knowing Mum is in such capable, compassionate hands.

Highly recommended.

My husband is being cared for in ST.Armands Court. I can't praise the staff enough. He was in a fairly bad state when he went in. Loss of weight depression. But they've brought around with there care and patience with doctor as needed. He can't walk or do anything for himself so they do everything for him. When I visit I get a lovely welcome from staff. Some are like friends now. My husband is very happy to be there. My family and I appreciate all they do for him as we can't look after him ourselves. Kind regards and a big Thankyou. Xx

From the first day my mum arrived at St Aramands, she has been looked after and made welcome by all the staff.
As she is 92 and has had the odd health issue, I feel she has been given the best care possible.
The reason she decided to come to St Aramands was because she realised that she could no longer cope with living on her own at home and felt a care home was the best option.
On her visit to look around, she immediately took a liking to the home.
All the staff I have met have all been friendly and helpful.
My mum has a few photos in frames that would make her room more homely , if someone could put some up for her, that would be appreciated.
Over the past few weeks, she has become less mobile, but i know work has been given to her to assist with her mobility.

Our overall impression of St Aramands, is a very friendly place with very professional and helpful staff caring for my mum the best they can, even in challenging situations.

My mum was a resident at The Hollies for a short time throughout June 2025. We want to pass on our sincere appreciation for the excellent care mum received from all the staff and management team during her stay. All the team made it their business to make sure they understood what she needed and when, which was extremely challenging with her health status. Her safety and comfort was always the priority. From the first contact with The Hollies Manager, to mums moving day and throughout her stay, everything was absolutely straightforward. The management team are highly responsive, professional and respectful. We can't be more thankful for the care received, both for my mum and for my dad as he experienced this major life challenge as well.

Thank you to each and everyone of The Hollies staff and broader Garforth Care Homes team.

The Hollies is a lovely 28 bed residential care home. It feels like a family home environment with it being a smaller care home. Thats definitely what I liked as it's more individualised.
They have activity coordinators who plan loads of daily activities and entertainment for the residents.
They provide lovely home cooked meals that are cooked fresh and they use good quality products..
They have family meetings usually every 2/3 months to ask if there's anything they could be doing better or just to keep you updated on what's going on in the home.
The GP visits weekly and they have a hairdresser and a chiropodist who come regularly.

The manager is great as are the care staff. They are very approachable and accommodating. They want to hear the residents and their families/friend's opinions and are always open to any new ideas to improve an already great care home. Most importantly my mum is very happy safe and well cared for living there.
