My lovely mum-in-law spent the last four years of her life in this wonderful place.
The staff are so very good - they love the people they look after and they definitely loved mum.
We would find them singing with her all the time and they found her so funny. She was well loved by them all.
Thank you, all of you, from my heart for the way you cared for her! Well she was worth it!! X

If you're thinking of a care home this is the best one, and sadly, there's a nice room spare now - if you get it, I pray you're as happy as mum was - God bless x

Mum spent the last few years of her life at Priory Grange, when she could no longer care for herself. The staff were always kind and tried encouraging her to do things without being pushy. During the time she was a resident her needs changed and the staff adapted accordingly, always treating her with the utmost respect. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them all.

Before my mum passed away she was a resident for 18 months. Mum was very happy with other residents, all of the staff said she was a lovely person.
The staff treated mum with the upmost respect and dignity always stopping for a chat which mum loved, she always had a lovely smile. Activities were always good for mum she loved her bingo winning sweets.

I cannot speak highly enough of the home's cleanliness and the staff who go well beyond their job description, always with a happyness and a genuine smile. A massive thankyou from mum's family xx

Review from Rita B (Partner of Resident) published on 22 August 2025 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Home is clean and staff are welcoming and helpful at all times. Always happy to resolve any queries or problems we have. My partner is very incapacitated due to stroke and is unable to walk or move independently but has full mental capacity. Staff help him stay happy and help him in so many ways, we really appreciate their kindness and patience. Meals are very good and nutritional with a good variety and choice. Everyone at this home deserves recognition for their dedication to keeping the residents happy and safe and for welcoming their visitors too.

My brother in law has been a resident (with dementia) for a little over two years. The staff are doing a great job - they are extremely caring and quite frankly, most are saints!
Obviously they are working under financial constraints but the home is always spotlessly clean and we are always welcomed as friends. The organised events and trips are good and the summer party is not to be missed. Meals are plentiful and tasty - roast dinners every week for instance and my brother in lawhas absolutely no complaints (neither have we!

Thank you to all the staff- we are so pleased that he is happy there..

Overall Experience

I took my dad into there for respite to see if we could get him to eat. He ended poorly so we moved him after 4 days due to not giving personal care at all. He had a fall the first night and had skin tears but they did not inform us of this. He was still in the same clothes and pull-up pad on the 4th day when we gave him personal care ourselves, to find his pad soaked in both urine and faeces. A lot of the staff are great but there was a particular senior who was rude to his family in front of my dad, I would not leave my dog there.

The gentleman arrived to give the family (Son) respite care due to a decline in health (emergency respite). Granddaughter explained he refused personal care, refused to eat and drink, and could be verbally abusive to staff and tell them to leave him alone.

We accepted the gentleman and worked...
