Jo Pickering brings 26 years of experience in health and social care to her role as Deputy Manager at The Maltings. Having worked as a resident lead, senior carer and deputy manager, Jo has a strong, hands-on understanding of delivering compassionate, high-quality care that is truly centred around each individual.
Jo is known for her approachable manner and her dedication to ensuring residents feel valued, comfortable and supported every day. She plays a vital role in leading the care team, maintaining high standards, and helping to create a welcoming, homely environment where residents’ well-being always comes first.
Outside of work, Jo enjoys walking her dog, spending quality time with her grandchildren, and going away in the caravan — interests that reflect her love of family, fresh air and making the most of life’s simple pleasures.
