Very happy with the care Mum is being provided with in quite difficult circumstances. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The manager is very approachable.

Considering the age of the care home there are problems with lifts, and plumbing i.e. not always hot water for showers, etc but everyone does their best to deal with these occasional problems as they arise!

My dad was on palliative care over the summer and although it was a sad and stressful time, the staff at Ryhope Manor Care Home made it a very positive experience. From domestic staff to carers, from nurses and kitchen staff to management, my dad was treated as an individual with respect and dignity and loving care. We knew he was in good hands when we left his bedside.

All staff are very caring. My uncle is very happy here. If it wasn't for the love and care given here, my uncle would not be with us today.

On our visit to Ryhope Manor, we had an overwhelming feeling of friendliness and a homely feeling. Mother has settled in very well and we, as a family, are happy to see her happy.

Both my parents stayed at Manor Care Home for a weeks respite. I could not speak any more highly of the place. The home is a relaxing old building with beautiful views of the garden. The care they received was so good. All the staff are very friendly and cared for their every need. The food also is excellent, unlike other experiences they have had in other care homes.
