My dad has been hospitalised twice due to dehydration.and dont get me started on the meals.. i wouldnt feed some of it to my dog.my mum has advised the care home on multiple occasions about my dads feet aa the podiatrist has told them on multiple occasions that he needs toe guards..i dont know who shaves him but they need to go back to school.
They put juice in his room and milk and leave it on a table.. he has dementia and doesnt have a clue what hes meant to do with it..
There are 2 great carers michelle and dan. And another lady with long dark hair who my dad loves Otherwise my dad has no chance..
I asked for a fluid chart and then witnessed a carer put down that my dad had drank 250ml of juice. My dad didnt even know the juice was there..
My mum on multiple occasions has asked for documents weeks ago and shes still waiting..

And to top it off she was told to reign me in or they would have no choice but to move my dad elsewhere..

The management and staff were very efficient & careing at the Belmont View. Our experience with my mother in restbite care was very good. She was always in a happy mood when I visited & I felt quite happy to leave her. She was introduced to other residents & made a particular friend on both occasions. I hope she will be able to return again to give me a break from round the clock care at home.

My wife was only in Belmont View Care Home from 31st Dec '25 until she died on 15th January '26 - she was suffering from dementia she was virtually unable to eat and did not partake in of the activities - the cost of her stay was covered by local council

As a family we more than impressed with the care and attention my wife received from all the staff. Everything was carried out with understanding, kindness & respect - nothing was too much for them and when they said something was going to happen - it did!! - In recent days all my close family have mad similar comments - "they thought the staff were excellent"!!

Thank you very much for your lovely words. It was a pleasure caring for your wife up until she sadly passed away. It is nice to hear you and your family had a lovely experience at such a sad and difficult time.

Belmont View Care Home is definitely our top choice when my father needs respite care. This has been his third stay and we cannot fault the care he has received. My father has mixed dementia and a number of physical health problems which the experienced staff were able to manage in a caring and respectful way. The home has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere which was appreciated by my father and all the family

My grandma has really settled well in this home, after her previous two homes not meeting the standard of care, my grandma deserves. She is settled and happy here. The staff are friendly and care about their patients. Communication between the staff and our family has always been great, I feel content with her being in this home and have no worries or complaints. I was brought up from birth by my grandma.

My mum was in this care home for approximately 18 months.
During that time she was looked after by the most fabulous of people.
From the kitchen staff, cleaners, carers and management, my mum was cared for with genuine love.
In her last few days she was treated with care & dignity and I spent 4.5 days with her, everyone was brilliant I had a bed next to mum, I was fed and well looked after and as a diabetic I could not have been better looked after if I was in a five star hotel!

I can highly recommend this care home for your loved ones!

I moved my mum 70 miles from her old care home in Doncaster. I was worried about the move. Belmont made the transistion so easy. We were able to use mums furniture too. The home is amazing. The care is fabulous after the last one. I recently had a memory from a year ago pop up, mum looks frail and unkempt. Comparing it to today she is thriving in Belmont best decision ever! I cant praise them all enough.

From moving in to Belmont View, my wife was treated with respect and dignity by staff who took their time to get to know her. The staff were caring and compassionate towards her and always treated her according to her changing needs. As my wifes health deteriorated the care provided increased and we were overwhelmed by the compassion shown by each and every staff member to not just my wife, but also the whole of our family.

My mother in law has recently returned from an extended respite stay at Belmont View and the care and service provided was impeccable. I asked for an extension on her stay due to having adaptions made at home for her and they was happy to accommodate. She has had three respite period's at Belmont and each time the care staff have been friendly and very welcoming.

On most days of the week I visit my wife who is suffering with dementia. It gives me great satisfaction to witness the kindness and compassion of the staff towards the residents with a paitence that never ceases to amaze me. The question I always ask my wife is 'are you happy' the answer is always yes! which pleases me no end! I would like to add that the staff make me feel welcomed and settle the worries about my wife, their support means a lot.

Both my parents are living in Belmont View, they were moved at very short notice which was upsetting for both them and family, all the staff have been amazing with helping to settle them both and always happy to answer our never ending questions!!! It is a lovely warm clean and caring home, they are encouraged to join in with all the fabulous daily activities and visitors are always warmly welcomed. The wonderful staff have made a very difficult time much easier for us all.

Belmont View is an excellent care home. It is a friendly place with approachable staff who are keen to ensure residents are happy and looked after to the highest standards possible. Any issues raised by family are dealt with immediately and the next of kin is informed promptly if the resident is in need of medical attention or there have been any problems. There are a wide range of activities organised for the residents. My mother's room was spacious, nicely furnished and always very clean. The laundry was done daily and her clothes returned to her room efficiently. Every effort was made to ensure she had food and drinks she enjoyed. Visitors were always greeted by staff and made welcome.
