A caring environment. Staff are brilliant and care about families. My husband was a resident for 12 months and end-of-life care was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff and manager were always caring and helpful.

Brilliant little nursing home, all staff are very friendly and keep you informed about your family member, clean spacious rooms, with very good daily meals. I was dead against putting my mother in a nursing home but couldn't fault this one, I knew she was getting very well looked after, highly recommend
it.

The food is not nutritious, my father was offered a dried piece of quiche about an inch wide with beans. Residents not treated with dignity or respect. First floor has an awful odour. Staff clearly have no understanding of dementia. Would not recommend this home.

My dad came to Brookfield in January 2018, initially for respite, after a fall which resulted in a broken hip and being wheelchair bound. Dad settled almost immediately and extended his stay which is now his permanent residence. This is all thanks to the dedication and care from all of the staff that
work here. He can now walk again and is steadily gaining weight. We, as his family, are all made welcome too.

A fabulously well run caring environment. The staff are just wonderful, nothing too much trouble or effort. Residents well fed with a varied diet and a great, fantastic array of dishes. My Dad said, "I didn't think a home would be like this". We are delighted.

Friendly caring staff taking care of each resident and caring for their needs individually.
The management and staff are so good with communication for residents and family members. All questions and queries are dealt with promptly and if a solution is not reached the same day it is always followed
up and dealt with as quickly as possible.

My mother and I were looking for some respite care or my nana who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. We both went to the care home to look around and the manager gave us a tour. The manager explained to us about the home and about the care and support that will be delivered. The information was useful.
Whilst at the home we observed the staff interacting with the people and we saw laughter/banter between everyone in the lounge. People appeared happy and well cared for. The home was clean and didn't have any foul smells.
Prior to going into Brookfield, we had visited three other homes and Brookfield was by far the best.
The family and I were very reluctant to use a care home due to everything you see on the news and social media, however, my views have changed and would recommend anyone to go check this home out. Unfortunately, my nan had deteriorated and required nursing care which Brookfield did not cater for so we took Nan home to care for as a family.
