All staff and management are excellent, they are brilliant with Beryl. She loves being in the care of everyone in the care home, I also feel very welcome when I visit Beryl. Very kind and friendly.

Very helpful nothing any trouble to them. They all welcome you, when I visit my brother and tell me how he is doing. I would recommend anyone with relatives going in a care home the Longlands Care Home.

Making the decision to place a parent into a care home is never easy, and accepting that extra help is needed can be very difficult.
Longlands Care Home, the management team, office staff, and carers have all been incredibly understanding and caring towards my dad. Everyone has a clear understanding of his needs and requirements, which gives us great reassurance as a family. If anything needs to be brought to our attention, they contact us and explain everything clearly. Dad's health and wellbeing are always their top priority.
The entertainment team are fantastic. They bring everyone together through activities, exercise, and celebrations for special occasions, making sure that everyone feels included and involved.

Overall, as a family we are very happy with the care Dad receives, and we truly believe it is helping him with all of his needs.

Even though my beautiful mother has only been in the home since January and at first I was extremely upset over it all, I've been settled with the care, love and support from everyone working in the home. I am always made welcome.

My father has been in this care home for nine years and has been very happy. Although he is deteriorating, he is being well looked after and pampered. The staff are very kind, respectful and caring. I continue to be very impressed with all the people who work here and would recommend to anyone.

Overall Experience
I was in Longlands Care Home from October 2020 to January 2021 after being diagnosed with heart failure. It was for respite care to begin with then I was told I had Covid-19 and was admitted to hospital. The staff were brilliant in all areas of the care home.
I was treated with respect and dignity as I was unable to bathe myself, I never felt embarrassed or ill at ease.
I got to know the girls as I called the carers and my two boys, being a cheeky 72 year old I got away with it. All the carers were brilliant, they were never to busy to help when you asked for advice.
I would recommend Longlands Care Home and would not hesitate to contact them if I needed residential care.

Thank you so much for helping me when I needed help.

Nursing and administration staff are fantastic, they treat Mum as family rather than a resident.
In regular contact if ill or doctor required.

My mother was initially admitted in for rest care and is now a permanent resident. The care provided to her is excellent, the staff here genuinely care and they are all lovely, plenty of activities which my mother can participate in when she wants to and plenty of services provided eg: hairdresser/podiatrist etc. It’s true to say my mother is a different lady since being here everyone really has made her feel at home and she has settled in perfectly.

The staff and management provide a fantastic level of care for my mam. I do not live locally so do not get to visit as often as I would wish but I know she is in good hands.

Communication is very good and the staff are so good and effective at interacting with mam and keeping her spirits up.
