We used St Johns House for the first time at the end of August for a week of respite care for my 91 year old dad. I found the home very welcoming. The manager, Darius, showed us around and was very thorough and patient. We were introduced to staff and shown the room and communal areas. Darius let us know when the room was ready as it was being refurbished and dad went in for a week. When he arrived he was made to feel very welcome by all the staff and other residents. He enjoyed the food, especially the puddings, and said the staff were very attentive during his stay. He liked the other residents and said it has a very homely feel.

My husband has been in Linson Court recently for 3 weeks respite care. It has been really good for him and he benefited from the experience. The Home is spotlessly clean and the rooms are of a good size and the Home has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The staff are very caring and the Manager and Deputy Manager are definitely in the right job as they make sure that the care in the Home is first class. They are both very welcoming and approachable people and I would recommend this Home to anyone who wants the best care for their loved one.

The carehome made my father's last days pain free and comfortable the staff were fantastic

Manner croft is the only place mum wanted to come as all of our family, as we have had family stay before and there care was exceptional, from meeting carran the manager it became apparent the dedication was 100% she is such a down to earth lady and nothing too much for mum and us as a family she is a credit to the company, kiyome assistant manager yet again 100% dedication and down to earth , all the staff are so welcoming and always there to help , our mum is our priority and to now she is hear is such a relief and gives us confidence she is safe and happy as she can , to sum up manner croft, one word, ,outstanding,

The Millings is a lovely happy home from home, caring and helpful staff, a great garden which encourages mobility, a gem! My mother is very happy here and I would thoroughly recommend. My mother in law was also a resident.

The Millings is a wonderful home for my Mum who is receiving amazing care from the dedicated, kind and generous staff. The Millings is consistently well run, with activities for their residents which provide daily varied entertainment and enjoyment. I cannot recommend The Millings highly enough and am so grateful for their amazing dedication to providing their residents with a home from home environment.

We have visited my sister at St John's House twice recently and we were delighted to find her so happy and looking far brighter than she has been for a long time now before she made St John's her home. The staff at the home were very welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for them. My sister's accommodation is very comfortable, so much so that she told us she liked this "hotel" very much! I would seriously recommend St Johns to anyone looking for a very good care home!

All staff and management are excellent, they are brilliant with Beryl. She loves being in the care of everyone in the care home, I also feel very welcome when I visit Beryl. Very kind and friendly.

My mum arrived at Linson Court in January 2026, from the very beginning the staff were outstanding. My mum was put on end of life care and from the very first phone call to enquire about a bed I was supported through the whole process with not just practical support but also emotional support. My mum was given just a few weeks to live however with the care and support from the staff (and also medication from the GP) my mum began to thrive. We were treated like family by the staff with my mum making some lovely connections. Come April and my mum walked out of Linson Court independently and went home. I will be eternally grateful for all of the care and support that was provided to nurse my mum back to health. I would highly recommend Linson Court if you are considering a nursing home for a loved one.

On 17th April 2026 my mum celebrated her 100th birthday. The staff at Queens Lodge Care Home made the day so special for her, and it was unforgettable for her family and friends. The staff made every effort to ascertain her wishes in advance and those of the family and to follow them as closely as possible. Her special day was filled with flowers, cards, gifts, and happy memories. Family and friends who attended were given a warm welcome to the home and noted the lovely atmosphere. The staff were wonderful, and the planned activities for mum were perfect. Thanks to everyone, I think you are amazing.

Very helpful nothing any trouble to them. They all welcome you, when I visit my brother and tell me how he is doing. I would recommend anyone with relatives going in a care home the Longlands Care Home.

Overall, as a family we are very happy with the care Dad receives, and we truly believe it is helping him with all of his needs.
