My mum receives excellent care, understanding and help (when she requires it). All staff I have had contact with are extremely lovely people. My mum does 'get down' sometimes but there is always someone there to support her and give her a hug! The house is always clean and fresh and my mum's room is
bright and airy. Her bathroom is always clean with fresh towels. The food always smells appetising and my mum is eating very well. She is allowed to eat in her room if she wishes. There are plenty of activities but my mum won't always join in (her choice) and she is not forced to. I live away from Barrow so don't see her as much as I'd like and although I'm always a little upset when I leave my mum, after spending the day with her but I know she will be well looked after.

My mother in law has spent the last week in hospital which is very upsetting for her and her family, she had vascular dementia but she immediately recognised the staff that met her on her return to the home, they were fantastic with her and managed to settle her better than the hospital or the family
could, they are just fantastic and the home has a real family atmosphere.
