Mam was a resident at Solway House for 2 years, she was treated with love , dignity and respect from all members of staff, a real home from home.
Excellent homemade food and plenty of it, activities etc, garden party, pie and pea suppers everyone welcome.
As a family during Mams final illness the care given to us was above and beyond, nothing was any trouble.

we can not praise Solway House highly enough, and would recommend it to anyone looking for residential care for their family members.

Overall Experience

Lovely caring staff, nothing is too much trouble, the lounge is comfortable and the conservatory is bright and airy. They do encourage independence and the food is home-cooked with good portions on offer and a choice of menu. I was really concerned when my relative had to go into a care home but feel that we landed on our feet when we were sent to Solway House. I can't thank them enough for the care they have given to both of us.
