Review from Shaun M (Son of Resident) published on 30 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Mum has been a resident of Westwinds for several years now. During this time the care that she has received from the excellent staff has been unfailingly good humoured, applied with skill and expertise, delivered with understanding and sensitivity, and always with empathy and joy.

The work of the staff and managers of the Home gives myself and my sister complete confidence in the quality of care that Mum is receiving, and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to others.

Review from Victoria F (Niece of Resident) published on 19 June 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Our Aunt has been a resident in WestWinds since December 2024.
She has dementia and her short-term memory loss meant it wasn't safe for her to live on her own.
We are very happy with the care at WestWinds. They encourage her to go out for quizzes and tea mornings and what our Aunt loves most is when local school children visit to read to the residents weekly.
There is always home cooked food.

Our Aunt is very settled in the home, which is testament of how caring and kind the staff are. They are in the process of decorating each room as the decor is a little tired but please don't let dissuade you as the care is exceptionally compassionate.
