At Hepscott Care Centre our fees include 24-hour personalised care tailored to each resident’s needs, along with all laundry services and full support with daily personal care. The only additional costs are for personal toiletries and optional hairdressing services.


We encourage families to bring in personal items to help create a warm, familiar, and homely environment in each resident’s room.


Our residents benefit from regular health visits, including an NHS chiropodist every 3 months, Visioncall eye tests every 6 months, and a local dentist who visits as needed. Private residents only pay for glasses if required—there are no hidden charges or top-up fees.


We offer a range of room sizes, both upstairs and downstairs, and every new resident is given the opportunity to choose from the rooms available at the time of admission.

We had to make the hardest decision as a family recently to place my lovely Dad in a care home. I visited one and I was made to feel we were intruding on the place, it did not 'feel right', we then visited Hepscott Care Centre and instantly we were shown in and made to feel welcome. He lives there now
and has really settled in due to the lovely staff and care they give, as a nurse myself, I can be quite particular in the way my dad is cared for, but as a daughter, I am over the moon with how he is treated and looked after. My dad deserves the best, so any issues or concerns I may have had been listened to and resolved in a timely manner. I would highly recommend the home for the staff, their kindness and the excellent home made food. Well done!

Overall experience at Hepscott Care Centre was very good. The staff are run off their feet but still smile and show a positive caring attitude with the residents and their families, it really makes a difference with a positive workforce. The home was very clean, and the meals looked good. I was fortunate
to see activities with the residents, and it was so nice to witness. Thank you.

My husband went to live at Hepscott Care Centre after an incident at home I soon realised it was impossible for me to meet his needs, and most importantly I could not keep him safe. All of the staff have been exceptional and they have got him to smile again. We now spend quality time together and I
am no longer afraid for his well-being. The team assured the residents they are no trouble at all and that nothing is a bother for them (even us visitors). They treat everyone with respect, kindness, smiles on their faces and a reassuring voice. My hubby and I now have a future together thanks to all who work tirelessly at Hepscott Care Centre.

Staff are very caring toward residents and very friendly. They are gentle in their communication with her and ask for her choices rather than making decisions for her. They involve her in activities and suggest she sit with other residents in order to engage in conversation. They are kind.
The room
is very sparsely decorated and cold during the day as the curtains are very thin and not lined. The wardrobe is not that stable and could topple on a resident if the doors are pulled rigorously. There is only a chair to discourage guests to her room. Her personal bathroom supplies keep disappearing from her en-suite and her clothes are not returned from the laundry.

My mam has been at Hepscott for a couple of months and is settling in well. The staff are friendly, helpful and approachable. When we have had an issue (washing of missing items) it has been resolved to our satisfaction.

My 94-year-old aunt has been a permanent resident for 6 months. She is very well looked after and cared for. The staff are all really lovely and they treat her with dignity and consideration. The management seem to have a real commitment to providing a safe and comfortable environment with regular activities
and events for both residents and relatives. The home is bright and welcoming. I've stayed and had lunch with my aunt a few times and the food is delicious. I can't thank the staff enough for their patience and kindness towards my aunt while doing such a physically and emotionally demanding job. It's obviously more than a job to them but a real vocation.

Second occasion to use the facility. Have been impressed with the standard of care from the staff. Compassion and a friendly, reassuring manner shown to my father and myself. Covid safety measures adhered to. Understanding of Dads needs. Dad was clean, well-fed, cheerful and relaxed when we visited.
All enquiries were dealt with promptly. We would be happy and reassured if/when Dad needs further care at the care home.

I have always had a warm welcome on my arrival. Staff always say hello.
I am always informed if needed to be on any changes. He always enjoys his food and always drinks in his room as he prefers to sit in there.

All areas very clean and rooms although small and cosy.
