As the saying goes- Don't judge a book by it's cover. Don't let this put you off. The outside of bay tree is in need of a lick of paint as is the inside. All decoration is in need of an overhaul. What more can I say about Bay Tree House other than the staff are brilliant? Mum was there nearly four years before she passed, they looked after Mum as if she was their mum. It's like a home from home. She was well looked after and very much loved and she loved them. Mum loved living there. The food was very good and her clothes and things were well looked after. Mum really didn't want to go into a care home but after a week of being there she said I should have done this years ago, she made friends and Mum was very happy at Bay Tree. A big thank you for looking after Mum so well, as they go the extra mile. The staff make the residents laugh and our very cheery and they make every resident feel special.

My mum has been a resident at Bay Tree since September 2023 after a long hospital stay due to a fall. The management and staff are very attentive and kind and treat all residents as individuals with respect and dignity and provide an excellent standard of care. I don’t live in the area and whenever I phone or visit they are very approachable and more than happy to discuss any aspects of my mum's ongoing care. Her clothes are always so beautifully laundered and hung up in her room which is immaculately clean and tidy whenever I visit. The cooks have gone above and beyond to encourage her to eat more and provide food she enjoys eating and the staff, where they can, give the residents options of how and where they like to spend their day. My mum is very immobile but is always assisted by cheerful staff with all her personal care needs day and night. The environment is cheery and bright and the wonderful team of regular staff provide a happy caring atmosphere with such commitment to their roles.
