My mother came into Brookdale after being in hospital. She needed further care to help with her recovery. Every member of staff we met were amazing, very polite, nothing was too much trouble. I was worried at first thinking she wudnt settle, but we had no problems at all she even said she
enjoyed herself. I would definitely recommend Brookdale to my friends & family and would have no hesitation to bring her again. Thank you for making her stay a happy one..

I'm always so happy to visit my grandad in Brookdale, the staff are so lovely and welcoming. They are always upbeat, professional and provide wonderful care to the residents here. I particularly enjoy coming on a Sunday for the lunch in the coffee shop, it provides a more intimate visit with your loved
one and the food is always top quality at a great price. The rooms and public areas are always spotlessly clean and my grandad is very well looked after by all staff. Thank you, Brookdale.

A friend had been a resident of Brookdale for a few months now and it's been brilliant. The staff are friendly and approachable. They treat the residents with the up most care at all times and the residents are always smiling. The facilities are fantastic from a small cafe to get tea and cake that's
decorated beautifully to all the activities on a weekly basis. There's something for all of the residents to enjoy! Even visitors are made to feel welcome. Great place for those that need that little extra help.

My dad has been resident at Brookdale for five and a half years. During that time there has been the pandemic, changes in staff, leadership and ownership, but the quality of care has never diminished. Communication is a strength as is the quality of care and knowledge and understanding of the residents.
A real effort is made to provide engaging activities to suit all preferences and families are enabled to feel like genuine partners to in their relative's care. When dad is confused, the staff are loving and caring, and when he is grumpy, patient and kind. Every time we visit, dad tells us that he is happy, and that is the measure of how well he is cared for.

I moved my friend here from another care home in March. After just 24hrs I noticed a big change in him. He's not mithering me to take him out all the time as he's happy staying in with all the entertainment going on in Brookdale. He's so happy now and it's really good to see. The difference here is
the staff care and look after the residents at all times. It's great I love the place. Well done to the office admin and all the staff. You all do a great job and are very caring.

Our Mum has been a resident here since September 2023. Initially we had no communication from Brookdale to tell us what was expected from us, as relatives and, as this was all new to us, we felt as though some communication from the home could have helped us all - it was almost non existent.
More
recently, however, changes seem to have been made. Lines of communication are excellent and we are very happy with the care shown to our Mum. The staff seem kind and patient and Mum (for the most part) seems very settled. On entering Brookdale we are always greeted with a smile and staff members are always on hand to assist. We feel reassured that the staff at Brookdale do all they can to make our Mum's time there as comfortable as possible - and that makes us, as her family, very grateful.

Our Mum sadly passed away in February, having entered the home in October 2024. I wanted to note the care and compassion shown to her in her last few weeks - which were very difficult. Knowing that, when we weren't there, we had absolute confidence that she was being cared for was a huge comfort. In
such difficult moments, we were treated with absolute kindness by every member of staff.

My father has been at Marley court since just after New Year 2025, and I honestly cannot thank all of the staff enough for what they have done for my dad. All of the staff are so friendly and so helpful, nothing is too much for anyone. And the care they give for each resident is second to none. And
the activities held every day (apart from Sundays) are varied in their nature and are very inclusive of any resident that wants to join in. My dad has progressed towards recovery from an accident in huge leaps and bounds, it's amazing to see how far he has come in just a few months, and alot of that progress can be attributed to the genuinely fantastic staff at Marley Court. Everyone has helped my dad to settle in so quickly, all the staff and residents know him and his cheeky little smile now. My family and I are so glad that we chose Marley Court for the care of my father, and he is so happy there. Thanks again to everyone at Marley.

Mum was moved to Marley Court from hospital, in a frail state , after being in and out of hospital with a variety of illnesses.
She has been in now for 8 weeks and she has been the most stable she has been for over 12 months due to the level of care she has received from the home.
She is eating well
and loving the variety of food, which has led to her putting on weight. She is always clean and well dressed in her own clothes and looks forward to having her weekly hair appointment with the homes hairdresser.
There are activities most days which I never thought mum would join in but the staff have gently encouraged her to integrate with the other residents at her own pace which is a joy to see.
As a visitor I have been made very welcome by all the staff at all times of the day and it has been lovely to see my mum so settled.

Care staff very good but as my brother is very deaf and can only see big print he gets bored.
New weekly emails helpful.
His room is dark and small but as he is hardly in there, its important.
I would like to be notified if the funds he has at the home run low. His account went into the red but

My friend been a resident at Marley Court Nursing & Residential Home for the past six months, and overall, we have been very pleased with the level of care she has received. The staff are genuinely compassionate and go out of their way to make residents feel comfortable and valued. They always greet
residents with a smile and seem to know each person by name, which creates a warm, family-like atmosphere.
Facility and Cleanliness: The facility itself is clean and well-maintained. The common areas are bright and cheerful, with plenty of natural light. My mother's room is always tidy, and the housekeeping staff do an excellent job of keeping everything in order. The gardens are lovely and provide a nice place for residents to get some fresh air and enjoy.

My mother moved to Marley Court over 18 months ago for what we thought was end-of-life care. With the care afforded by the team, she is thriving and has become very fond of many of them.
The pleasant, helpful and professional team seem to genuinely love their job and the residents.
On the whole,
the home is clean and the bedrooms are undergoing refurbishment.
The services brought in such as hairdressing, chiropody, optical and auditory are efficient and convenient.
As a family, we are so fortunate to have found a place for Mum here.

Mum has complex needs which require careful, sympathetic and patient management. The staff at Marley Court are fully in tune with this and go out of their way to make her as happy and comfortable as possible. The family visit every day and so have a good first-hand knowledge of the welcoming and friendly
atmosphere and how the home is run. We are very happy with the overall care, attention and support Mum gets on a daily and nightly basis. We also appreciate the Managers, Advanced Practitioners and carers' prompt response to our requests for information and their willingness to 'keep an eye out' for Mum when problems arise. The staff are friendly and proactive in catering for Mum's needs. Nearly every weekday there are activities in the lounge and staff encourage the residents to join in. In the summer residents can chose to sit outside and pet the resident rabbits Bonnie and Clyde.

My mother went into Marley Court in a very vulnerable and frail state, following several spells in hospital. She is now thriving due to the high quality of the care given and is enjoying being taken care of in such a warm and caring environment. She did struggle in the beginning to settle in, but
because the staff are so kind, now it has become the place that she feels safe in, and I know that she is safe too, which means that I don't feel worried on a daily basis any more.
Every member of staff is helpful, friendly and professional, and it's clear that they care deeply about the residents. The home is kept spotlessly clean at all times, there are no unpleasant odours, and the food is nutritious and varied. My mother is always very clean and in fresh clothes, and she likes having her hair done by the visiting hairdresser! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff - she is very well looked after.
We have been very lucky to have her be a resident at Marley Court.
