Overall Experience
I live a long way from my Mother, so I rely on the Carers to look after her and tlc. She can no longer communicate her wishes but they know her so well that I feel her wishes are considered. They seem genuinely fond of her which is more than I could have hoped for. They cope with her dietary requirements and do their best to keep her safe and comfortable. We couldn’t see her for a long time during lockdown but I didn’t fear that they weren’t doing their best even when the family couldn’t visit.

Overall Experience
Mother has been supported since her discharge from hospital in October 2019 with great sensitivity and compassion. She arrived with a high level of need and the home was able to provide that and increase the support as required over the last 2 years. Mother has a lovely bright room that is kept clean and tidy, the staff are cheerful and supportive. The common areas are always clean and bright and the atmosphere of the home is welcoming. Events, birthdays and public festivals, are marked and celebrated with residents made to feel important and valued. The residents have been kept safe all through the Covid epidemic and arrangements were made promptly for safe visiting my relatives as soon as allowed.
I would recommend Brompton Lodge, the management and the staff to any friends and family seeking a home for a relative or loved one.
