The Willows near Neath, offers support for individuals with complex needs associated with their mental health or acquired brain injury.
With a bespoke rehabilitation focus, staff develop flexible individual support plans to help each service user to fulfill their life and regain confidence and autonomy.
The Willows is a spacious, calm service located in Bryncoch, a small village very close to Neath and is convenient for local pubs and shops.
The home is a 10 minute bus ride to the towns of Neath and Pontardawe, where individuals are supported to access vocational and occupational resources.
The accommodation within this bright, homely environment is made up of spacious rooms and apartments.
All individuals have access to, and are overseen by a regional RGM clinical lead, clinical support nurse and specialist behaviour adviser, for support in psychological and physical health needs. There is a consultant clinical psychiatrist, if required.
Individuals with an acquired brain injury are able to access the local Tracscare ‘Positive Steps’ workshop, to develop their cognitive and social skills under the guidance of a clinical lead nurse, in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
