Orchardhead House has been custom-built to suit the care needs of older people. Taking pride in a homely environment, the provider supports freedom of movement and staff are courteous and attentive.

Rooms are private and en-suite, with some companion rooms available and clients are welcome to personalised their surroundings.

There is a choice of lounges and also a sun room and an on-site hairdressing salon. Residents can enjoy views of an Orchard from most of the public rooms.

I visit Orchardhead House Residential Care Home regularly on a weekly occasion. The home has improved the quality of life of my friend enormously. Living in a comfortable, clean, safe and secure environment as well as providing the opportunity for interaction with other residents through social activity.
The management and care staff are exceptional in the performance of their dedicated duties of care and are informative in respect of any concerns in relation to her requirements.

Mum moved into Orchardhead House earlier this year as her dementia had progressed. The transition was flawless thanks to the fantastic staff there. The home is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Mum is eating well and praises the food. Communication from the home is outstanding.
My brother and
I have peace of mind that Mum is safe and well cared for. Mum is happy again which is a joy for us. Staff are caring and friendly and funny but always professional and respectful. We are so grateful to the staff as Mum is part of a community again. In fact, the home is an extension of our family.

I visit my friend every week and find the staff to be kind and cheery at all times. Orchardhead House is a first class home. Residents are very well looked after. They also have regular entertainment.

My father has been a resident in Orchardhead House since October 2017. The care he has received has been exceptional, whilst his dementia has progressed his health, self esteem and general well-being has continually improved. Orchardhead House is a very happy home with professional and caring staff

So grateful that the family secured a place for Mum at Orchardhead House. Dad needed to know she was going to be well taken care of - they have been married for 79 years. Mum's dementia was more advanced than we realised and unfortunately, she is not aware she is now in a care home. The fact that she
is being looked after by staff that know what they are doing gives us reassurance and is she is in the best place - the job they do is wonderful. Everyone at Orchardhead makes you feel so welcome when you visit your loved one. The home itself has a 'homely' feel and fresh and clean with the rooms tastefully furnished. The grounds and patio areas around the home are well tended for and are a pleasure to sit in. Mum went into the home during the pandemic-well done to Orchardhead for keeping everyone safe during these difficult times.

My siblings and I visited over a dozen care homes before we walked into Orchardhead. My sister and I were instantly, and I mean instantly, impressed by the complete difference between them and Orchardhead. It felt more like someone's home rather than being clinical. The staff and management are all
lovely. Couldn't sing their praises high enough. It is a monumental decision to have to put your parent into a home but this was definitely the right decision for our mother.

I have nothing but huge respect and admiration for the manager and her wonderful team at Orchard head care home. I am confident that my mum is in safe caring hands and feel very lucky that she has been able to get a space there. Nothing is too much trouble. When my mum was ill I witnessed first-hand
how quickly I was contacted and allowed to be by her side and the care and devotion of the staff to my mum. I love the way they make the most out of life with their special events for the residents. The postponed visit to the theatre that sailed ahead the minute it could. ‘Elvis’ was in the building for one enjoyable event. The garden party with family picnics and entertainment a really lovely shared experience for us all. My two brothers and myself feel very happy that mum is looked after at Orchard House and more importantly my mum is very happy there. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

I am very happy with the care my friend is receiving at Orchard Head House. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much bother. I currently visit friends in 2 other Fife care homes where the attention to protocols regarding visitors has sadly diminished whereas the manager at Orchardhead House
recognises the benefit of these will help keep my friend and other residents safe. I can and have done so in the past recommended this home to others.

The staff are all very welcoming and answer any queries you have, the care given is exceptional they are always on hand to help but encourage residents to do as much as they can. The home is always spotlessly clean and has a homely feel to it, they always seem to have activities on the go which is great

Our family couldn't be happier with the care that Dad has received since he moved into Orchardhead House in December. All of the staff are lovely, the surroundings beautiful and facilities top notch. Dad is very settled here and we are happy that he is being given the best care possible. In a wider
sense, there is a profound understanding of the dementia journey, which helps to guide our changing relationship with Dad. It is great to be his children again, rather than his carers.

Always kept well informed and up to date with activities and events at the home. Staff go out their way to involve the family with event sand special moments e.g. video calling myself to share my Aunt's delight at having carol singers and a piper playing for her. I am so impressed with the care my Aunt
gets. She has nothing but praise for them and is so thankful to them. The home puts the residents first and foremost and looks after them admirably. Thank you Orchardhead.

Our experience of Otahcardhead has always been positive. Mum-in-law spent 3 happy years here and now we have placed mum in there excellent care. The staff are all very experienced and caring and have made mums transition as painless as possible. The management and staff have also supported my sister
and I in what was an incredibly difficult decision. But mum is safe, clean, entertained on 24-hour basis.

My mother has been at Orchardhead House for three months now and it gives us huge comfort to know that she is safe and well cared for. The staff are lovely, always there with a smile and are quick to address any requests/concerns. She has settled in very well and both her physical and mental well-being
seems to have picked up reflecting the standard of care. I would happily recommend Orchardhead House.

Having watched my mother seamlessly slip into Orchardhead, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend others to relocate there.
Not only are the facilities top class, the staff excel in their approach to the residents.
It is a huge weight off the minds of myself and my siblings knowing that our beloved mother
has found a new home that has put a smile on her face.
A big thank you to everyone involved in this successful project.

My Mum has recently had flu and pneumonia. She became ill very quickly. It was noticed that she was becoming unwell and the staff were very vigilant and called an ambulance quickly. The staff are always patient and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. They know food preferences and individualise each

Orchardhead House has been home to my grandmother for almost a decade and in that time they have been exemplary in her care. All of the staff were friendly and treated my grandmother like a family member. This can be highlighted most in the last few months where my grandmother's health severely deteriorated.
They attended hospital with her. Always kept me up to date as I live in England and when her illness was seen to be terminal, brought my grandmother back to Orchardhead House and her home. They provided care above and beyond the residential home status and she was cared for with respect, dignity and love. I would have no reservation in recommending Orchardhead House to any resident or family member prospective. I cannot fault them. Thank you all for your wonderful care.

My mother was a resident of Orchardhead House for over 9 years. Throughout the entire period, I have nothing but praise for everyone there who worked above and beyond to provide the best service, support, and experience for the residents. Family members were welcome at any time and the surroundings
were always clean and fresh smelling. Although Orchardhead House is not a nursing home I am deeply grateful to everyone who insisted that my mother should be cared for at home in her final days. It is not possible to convey how much our family appreciated this. Orchardhead House is I believe based on almost a decade of experience the best residential home it is possible to get. Others should aspire to reach this level.
