A lovely little nursing home. There is many smiling faces and laughter. They emphasise that they work at the residents home. (Not the other way round). It is a real home for our grand mother. The rooms are sun lit. The patio is south facing and warm. We feel that mum is safe. Her weight and her energy levels get monitored. We got a phone call when mum had a little tumble (once). The carers don't hesitate to call the GP if needed and organise medication very well.

Overall Experience

My mother is very comfortable and well cared for at Craighall House. The staff are very attentive caring and welcoming. The size of the care home means that she gets a very personalised level of care, and the staff listens to her and always tries to ensure her needs are met. It gives me a lot of comfort to know that she is safe and in such good hands. Her room is lovely, and it is very handy to have a small 'kitchen' area with a mini fridge, as my mother likes having her coffee maker, and it helps her maintain a feeling of independence. The ensuite shower room is also great. The staff always make visitors feel welcome and are also very helpful when it comes to arranging a taxi for an outing or to attend an appointment. It is fantastic having a Park nearby, for outings, and also a small convenience shop, for shopping trips. I am so grateful to the staff for everything they do to support my mother and for making Craighall House such a friendly and welcoming place.

My Mother has been in the care home for a year. It is a very small, well-run care home. My Mother is very settled and happy here.
The staff is very helpful and accessible and it is very relaxed and friendly.

I cannot thank the staff enough for taking such good care of my Mother.

My Mum has now been a Resident of Craighall House for over a year, Mum is well looked after and needs a lot of care to see her through the day. Mum and I have found the staff at Craighall House professional and courteous in any dealings we have had with them.
Mum also enjoys the food and loves a bit of chit-chat with the staff.

We are happy to have found Craighall House although being small, it's like living with a large Family.
