My father is very well cared for and I could be happier with his care.
We are very grateful for your support and for taking the time to share your thoughts.
As the husband of a resident I have nothing but praise for the staff, from the admin, management and restaurant staff to the front line carers. I've been visiting regularly for 2 years plus, so can give a meaningful statement of the level of care that my wife receives. Thanks very much for your commitment to high standards of care.

All staff, particularly activities coordinator excellent.
We are impressed by cleanliness and the changing of towel and cloths daily.

Review from Keith
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Dad settled well here at Beechgrove and quickly became part of our 'family' He was a good friend to many residents and staff alike. Our aim is for our residents to settle and feel at home in their surroundings and this certainly was the case with dad.
Generally we are happy with dads care in Beechgrove Care Home. All the staff are very caring and approachable and try hard to be accommodating. Beechgrove is clean and comfortable and has lovely outdoor areas with lawns, planted borders and summer pots to enjoy with your loved one when the weather is warm and sunny. Beechgrove has a very good activity team who organise a very varied and interesting activity/social calendar for the residents and proactively encourage resident's participation. Food could be a bit more appetising at times.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Your dad has settled in well at Beechgrove, our aim is to make our residents feel welcome, cared for and at home here. Our activity staff strive to involve our residents with meaningful and enjoyable activities to ensure there day is as pleasurable as possible.
Overall very pleased with all aspects of the home.
Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. It is always rewarding to hear that we have been able to offer the best support to our residents and their relatives at Beechgrove. Your feedback means a lot to us and helps us continue to improve.
My husband was admitted for respite care for two weeks. He was very settled from day one the staff and accommodation was very good. He did not settle well back home and were were able to settle him back into the care home a few days later. He has settled very well and we hope that he will be able to stay. We cannot thank all the staff enough for the great service.
Thank you for taking the time to give our home a review. It is great to hear that your husband was settled while with us for his respite stay and since returning to us, again has settled in well. Our aim is for all residents to enjoy and feel at home while receiving the best possible care for their individual needs while having quality visiting time from their loved ones.
My lovely sister-in-law has now been at Beechgrove for just over a year. I live some distance away but was able to visit her last week - and I remain blown away by how amazing the care is. Absolutely everyone I met was friendly - indeed the whole atmosphere is friendly and supportive. When I arrived one day, my sister-in-law was walking from one wing to her usual wing - it's amazing how well she gets around the care home, welcome in any of the wings and known to everyone. When I arrived another day, there was a chair exercise class in full swing, with humour and encouragement from the staff member heading it up. We visited her room together to look at some pictures and her room was absolutely immaculate and yet homely. It is incredibly re-assuring to see how well she is cared for - and thank you too for caring for my brother as a regular visitor - thank you to everyone at the truly incredible place that is Beechgrove.
Thank you for your heartfelt review. It is encouraging to hear how welcome you feel when visiting and that our quality of care and compassion to residents and visitors alike are at a standard everyone deserves. We encourage our residents to walk around our home and interact with others it is truly...
My aunt has had such a hard time due to a few recent hospital stays. We, as a family, couldn't believe our luck in being offered a residential place at Beechgrove Care Home. Now she has the 24 hour care she needs, it's such a relief. But as well as this, Beechgrove have a fantastic activities programme. I also extend sincere thanks to staff in all departments, making my aunt's stay so pleasurable, and for making us all so welcome.
Thank you for your recent review, I am glad your aunt has settled in well and she feels comfortable and safe in her new home. Our activities program aims to involve all residents to help make their days more meaningful and fulfilling. Relatives are just as important as our residents and we are happy that you feel so welcome.
It's challenging when when it's time to put a loved one into long-term care but from day one on a tour of the facility to agreeing, it was the right thing, then moving in, I cannot fault the caring staff that look after my mum. The management, admin, carers, catering, cleaning, laundry, nurses, activities all make her so welcome and make me feel reassured she is being incredibly well looked after and genuinely cared for. Thank you team Beechgrove.
Thank you for your kind words. It means the world to us knowing we are able to make Mum feel part of our family and make her stay here comfortable. One of our company values is being ''inclusive'' and it is lovely to hear that you feel welcomed and reassured Mum receives the high quality of care that she deserves.
The standard of care for my wife is outstanding - all the staff are friendly and caring, the facilities are excellent and the activities are great. The main thing though is the staff who are all fantastic. Walking along the corridor recently with my wife, who has dementia, everyone we passed had a cheery 'hello' for us - and my wife said 'I feel like the queen - everybody knows me'. What a great thing that when she is forgetting everything she is made to feel special. That means so much to me, to the rest of the family and to her friends - all of who feel welcome and rate Beechgrove Care Home as fantastic.
Thank you very much for your review. Your wife has settled very well into Beechgrove, it is lovely to see how happy she is, she gets on well with the staff and enjoys the activities that she takes part in. We endeavour to make all our residents feel happy, content and well cared for within our home.
The quality and choice of food are very good, the cleanliness excellent and the whole facility is in the process of being upgraded.
There has been a change in management over the last few months but it is good to see that they have changed very little (don't fix it if it isn't broken).
Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. It is always good to receive feedback and the review that your father-in-law is well cared for shows that the service we provide is up to standard. We endeavour to make residents feel at home in a supported environment. We welcome families at any...
Big thanks to the cook (you know who you are) for encouraging my mum to bake.
New manager is very approachable and committed.
Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. It is always good when residents take part in our activities, especially ones that they have always enjoyed previously. Our activity coordinators have many things planned for the future and hopefully, your mum will participate.
I think this nursing home is excellent in every way! All the staff are very nice and considerate to the residents and their families and visitors. From the care staff, cooks and kitchen staff, cleaners and office workers, all of them are so caring to the residents. When my partner was there near end-of-life, they just look after you like you are family, ensuring you have something to eat and tea and coffees and wee chats, comforting the family at their hardest and saddest times! My partner loved it there, his chats with the activities, being able to move around and chat to other residents but most of all, the meals all homemade, of course, he says the rice pudding is the best he's ever tasted in his life. I can't thank the staff enough for making his stay at his all-inclusive hotel (that's what he called it) so enjoyable and safe. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review, as you know your partner knew many of the staff at Beechgrove and from the moment he came to us, he was part of "our family" he settled well and interacted with staff and residents alike, his smile and sense of humour was so infectious, everyone just...
Over the years, since Mum was a resident, every effort was made to engage her with activities organised in the common lounge and cinema room.
Special occasions, like birthdays, music sing and dancing, were organised with all residents joining in.
Mum's 100th birthday party was a great day with a good number of the family in attendance and the lounge decorated with the card from the King displayed for all to see.
Thank you for your kind words in your review. It was a pleasure to have Mum and yourself as part of "the Beechgrove" family. We aim for residents to be fulfilled in their daily lives while providing the best possible care.
