It really is a "Care" "Home"
management & staff give their best to make residents feel comfortable.
Personal care is individually focused, mum is always clean & tidy.
Mum moved in after hip surgery so staff encouraged daily physio, she can now walk again using an aid.
Staff work hard at building positive relationships with both residents and their loved ones.
This explains why there is such a nice atmosphere in Stormont,we are always greeted with a welcoming smile from staff.
Any questions or frustrations dad or mum had while settling in were quickly answered which helped alleviate any niggly worries they had.
Father visits 4/5 times a week,he already feels like part of the furniture. He enjoys his cuppa, cake & chats with staff as they ask how HE is doing as well as updating him on mums day.
As a family we feel mum is being properly cared for,her individual needs are being met and she is safe.
Thank you Dawn, Kirsty & the Stormont Lodge Team!
Thank you very much for taking the time to send in this excellent appraisal for Stormont Lodge. It's lovely to hear the difference the team are making to your mum's wellbeing and that your family feel so at ease in the home. They'll be delighted with all of this wonderful feedback. Thanks again.
Every visit I made was greeted with a friendly smile and the offer so a cup of tea. All staff could not do enough to look after my father-in-law with great care and attention, to which he and our family were truly grateful in the knowledge of his needs being met. To see the progress to the outside area for the residents is a joy to behold to which will help in their wellbeing. We also took great joy in participating with the organised events along with the other residents to show our appreciation of the loving care devoted by everyone involved. A great team.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. That your father-in-law and your family were well looked after and that care and attention gave you full peace of mind, is exacly what we strive for every day. It means a great deal to the team to hear how their work makes the difference. We will be sure to share your kind words with everyone. Thank you once again.
So pleased with care and attention my dad receives from all the pleasant and attentive staff. I felt dad was safe and I was able to relax knowing the provisions, activities and staff went beyond professionalism in his care, couldn't do enough and contact was there from both the staff and myself. If we had any queries someone was always at the end of a phone. They made my family very welcome when visiting and we enjoyed participating in any events the put on. Excellent care home and staff.
Thank you for taking the time to write and send in this excellent appraisal of Stormont Lodge. It's lovely to hear that you've seen the attention every member of the team gives to providing the very best of care. They'll be so happy to read this. Thanks again.
Stormont Lodge offers a caring service for mum. It is a great comfort to her family that she is safe and well looked after. The home is undergoing many improvements particularly to the garden. New fences and paths have been constructed and a polytunnel has been erected. This will provide great mental and physical stimulation for the residents and staff. A handyman is to be congratulated for his work on the project and everyone who has contributed. Overall 10 out of 10.
Thank you for taking the time to send in this marvellous review for Stormont Lodge. We're so happy to hear the comfort the home has brought to your mum and your family too. The whole team will be delighted with your feedback. Thanks again!
I would happily recommend this care home. My mum has been a resident here for a year now, and it is a great comfort to know she is settled, safe and so well looked after. The staff are consistently caring, attentive, and treat every resident with genuine dignity and respect, which means a great deal to us as a family.
The management team and carers have also been incredibly supportive of me and my family, always taking time to communicate and reassure us. This level of kindness and openness makes a real difference and gives us peace of mind.
There is also a varied and lively activities programme, with something to suit everyone's interests and abilities. It's lovely to see residents engaged, social and enjoying themselves.
Overall, this is a warm, welcoming environment where residents are truly cared for, and families feel supported.
Thank you for sending in this fantastic review for Stormont Lodge. Five stars in every department too - lovely! It will mean a great deal to the team to know your family feels so assured by the high level of care and support they give, to your mum and every fellow resident. Thank you again.

Our dear mum has recently celebrated her 2nd anniversary at Stormont Care Home. She could not be more happy and contented at Stormont and this is 100% down to the care and great kindness she receives from everyone there, management and staff alike. If only all care homes could be like Stormont, the world would be a better place and people would be less stressed when the times comes in their life that residential care is required. The activities such as bus trips, live music performances and last week I was honoured to be present when the local school children called in for a visit. The visit of the Shetland ponies was a particularly magical event for mum as she loves horses and it's great to know they'll be back for a return visit. It was delightful to see the smiling faces of the residents as they got to pet the horses, it was really special. Keep up the great work you do and please know how much we all appreciate what you do, you are all wonderful.
Thank you for taking the time to send in this absolutely fantastic review of Stormont Lodge. It's wonderful to hear how dearly you think of the team and all their efforts to deliver the very best of care. It's great to know you're appreciating the sheer variety of activities regularly on offer,...

When my brother went into Stormont Lodge he was in a very poor physical state. His mental health wa also poor. It did not take the team at Stormont Lodge long to bring him back from the brink; they have done a fantastic job over the past 2 years. Dawn and her team have been fantastic.
Thank you for taking the time to send in this great review. It's the most excellent feedback possible to hear that the team make such a difference to your brother's wellbeing. They'll be so happy to read this. Thanks again.
I am happy with mum's care at the home. She is always clean and tidy. There is always something going on for the residents, and the staff really care. Since Dawn has taken over as the manager, the home feels warmer, and nothing is too much trouble. The carers are superb; however Mags stands out as wonderful.
What a wonderful review! Thank you for taking the time to write it for us. It means so much for our team to hear how their work makes all the difference for both our residents and their families. We're so pleased to read how happy you are with your mum's care, and her home. We'll be sure to pass on your kind words. Thank you again.
The lounge and dining area are clean and tidy and the food looks good. Games are fun for all and a party is due at the end of October.
My husband is safe and well cared for and that helps me.
Thank you for your review. We truly understand how difficult a care decision is, both for our residents and their families. We're so glad to know the care and support you get from your Stormont team is helping you both through this transition. Safe and well-cared for is so very important for your...
This was my first visit to the care home, and it was delightful to see and hear from the residents how happy they were to be there. They are kept fully occupied and entertained, and friendships are made. I was welcomed as a visitor and invited to join the activities, and shared a meal with everyone. The follow-up with photos of the day and past events is great. A happy home to live in.
Thank you for taking the time to send in this wonderful review of Stormont Lodge. High praise indeed! The home prides itself on creating a sense of community and it's lovely that you've seen this up close. The team will be delighted with your feedback.

I really appreciate the kind, attentive, professional way the staff here look after and care for my mother. Thank you. I really like the atmosphere at the care home and the way the staff interact with each other and the residents. It's like a loving extended family here. I cannot thank the staff enough, especially one staff member, for their kindness towards my mother and also towards me. The home is bright, clean, well-maintained with a really pleasant "vibe" feeling. Staff are open, genuine and always approachable for questions and any queries/concerns.

My mum has been in Stormont Lodge since December 2022 and the care and attention she received was outstanding. The staff were always kind and caring even although their job is not always easy. The mix of different nationalities have been an asset to Stormont Lodge. The atmosphere in the home is always calm & friendly. I always felt part of the family whenever I went. The food and entertainment was always great. Appointing the manager was a great decision. She has great ideas and has made such a difference to the running of the home. Sadly my mum passed away on 02nd May. The staff were so kind and helpful.
