Brymore House Care Home

My dad was in Brymore House Care Home from 17/02/23 to 17/03/23, during his stay at the home he was cared for very well. He loved the food, he had a lovely room to stay in and it was very clean. The staff are very caring and helpful, great place.

My family and I have great ease and appreciation, knowing my grandfather is amazingly taken care of by staff and management. The care home has an outstanding dynamic, and everything seems well-operated. Staff are always friendly and willing to help; they also ensure a guaranteed safe environment for residents. I have always found staff and management have genuine care for my grandad and maintain healthy/supportive relations with residents. The care home is always found presentable with amazing hygiene.

My mother was in Brymore House Care Home for approx three years. The care was brilliant and she settled in very well, not easy as she had dementia and was not always easy to deal with. We as a family could not fault the care towards the end of her life and would recommend the home to anyone looking for a place for a relative. A big big thank you for everything you have done for my mum.

A big, big thank you to all the staff at Brymore! My mother recently spent four weeks there and the staff were fantastic. The day and night staff work so hard and made my mum feel so comfortable during her stay. I was very apprehensive about her staying there at the beginning but the business administrator, put my mind at rest from the start. They catered for all her needs, put on loads of activities and encouraged my mother to interact with all the residents. The rehab team were amazing and my mum has improved greatly and is getting back to the way she was. A special thank you to one of the nurses, who was incredible. I cannot thank Brymore enough for everything they have done for my mum and would fully recommend them.

Mum's care has been second to none. She has been very comfortable and well cared for. The home and the staff have done extremely well in coping over the covid period as they were very pro-active frin the very start. The staff always kept me informed on mum's condition.

On visiting Brymore Hosue for the very first time, I was amazed at the cleanliness, the layout and the home, and the kindness of management and staff. I had no hesitation after being shown around that my mother would be really happy here. Nothing was too much trouble. The care was brilliant, the activities are a joy to my mother. Nothing was too much trouble, even down to the chef who catered for my mother's requirements. She was truly happy during her time at Brymore Hosue and that is all one can wish for, although mum has sadly passed away now, it is also a comfort to stay in touch with Brymore.

Pleased with the treatment for exercising leg muscles, improving slowly just need more confidence. Managing with a walking frame at present.

I have been well looked after and given support and encouragement with the exercises, which has helped me to make progress. The staff are friendly and easy to chat with and I've looked forward to seeing them each day.

I booked a visit to see my aunt in Brymore (as I hadn’t since she was discharged from hospital). My aunt looked incredible. She was alert and her mobility had improved significantly. There was such a positive difference.

I cannot put into words that would explain how I felt about my stay at Brymore House. I arrived after a 3-month stay in hospital after contacting COVID. To say I was petrified would be an understatement. The staff immediately made me feel welcome and special. I had very little feeling around my middle. The physios explained to me what my rehab would entail, they, worked with me twice daily. After 2 weeks they took me to the gym and I continued to progress. All the staff I came in contact with were friendly. When I returned home after 4 weeks all feeling had returned to my body. I was walking with a Zimmer frame and crutches. I am now managing to walk a little unaided. Thank you Brymore House from the bottom of my heart.

My mother spent just over 3 years in Brymore House. She was always very well looked after by the nurses and carers who treated her like family. She was very happy there and joined in with all the various activities timetabled every day. We were always kept informed about her health and notified quickly of any changes or treatments that might be needed. She had a small appetite but enjoyed the food, especially Friday's fish & chips. It was hard not to visit during pandemic but staff did their best to facetime us regularly and we did visit in the grounds when she was well enough. She always knew she was safe and among friends - people that cared for her.

I cannot praise too highly the care and attention given to my aunt over 16 months of her life (until she was 97).

My brother was in Brymore House for 1 year and in that time he had the best of care given to him. When we visited the staff always greeted us with a friendly welcome. The staff were always very kind and helpful. They always had time to talk to us about him and offered us refreshments while we were there. If his doctor prescribed any medication for him they always rang me to keep me informed. I am very grateful for all the care and attention he was given.

Everyone was excellent in their role.

The staff have been competent and caring. Medication has always been on time. Rooms have always been kept very clean and the food is good.

I am extremely pleased with the care and support provided by staff. All have been welcoming, friendly, helpful, compassionate, respectful, caring and mindful. My father received excellent care and wanted for nothing. All aspects of his care were considered. Communication with staff was clear and open. All aspects of his care were discussed and explained to my satisfaction. The environment was kept very clean and tidy. The most important asset at Brymore House is the staff, from receptionist, nursing staff to cleaners. They all demonstrated a high degree of professionalism and deep, caring, compassion.

I have my sister in Brymore House it feels just like home when you walk in all the staff without exception are kind, considerate, caring and fun. She loves being here. She is treated with the utmost respect at all times and the staff treat us/her family with the utmost respect. I would like to think if I had to go into a home it would be Brymore House.

My mum has been in Brymore for a few years now. The care she has received has been amazing. The chef will cook anything she would like to eat if she is off her food. The carers are friendly and helpful, in fact everyone at Brymore seems to work as a team so it makes a happy home.

My mum has been in Brymore House since June 2016, at all times her care has been excellent. We are always informed of any changes in her health and kept up to date with medication etc. The staff are all friendly and approachable. The whole building is kept clean to a high standard. They have regular entertainment for residents and relatives.

Thank you Brymore for making mums stay there as comfortable and friendly as could possibly be.
