My mum has been a resident for 5 years we are very pleased with the care she has been given by the carers on the Sugar Wing. They are all very approachable.

Mum has been cared for here for the last 8 months. We have found everything to be perfect for her needs, she has Alzheimer's. Staff are very caring and very kind and go that extra mile. I would highly recommend this care home and thank everyone for caring for my mum.

Overall the care is good and my mother's personal hygiene is of a high standard. There are organised activities but these do not always mee the needs of the residents. I believe my mother should be doing some simple daily chair exercises but also appreciate the limited resources and staffing. Communications
could be improved with an organisation display of the staff and their responsibilities.

Your suggestions on activities and organisational board for senior staff is well noted and I can reassure you that this will be considered by the management of the home.

Generally very good. Some issues with room security (cash/jewellery has gone missing, safes in rooms could help).

Staff generally kind, courteous.

Mum says the food is not amazing (chef change?), but acceptable. Jewish identity is well respected through the observance of major festivals and Shabbat.

Open day was really great. Doctor sometimes seems a bit dismissive.

In general though, staff/organisation is much appreciated. Thank you.

The care that my Mother receives daily at the home is exceptional. All the staff, from the nursing team, carers to kitchen staff and management are very kind and take great care of the residents. The food provided is excellent from breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner and they always
have fruit or toast available should a resident ask. As visitors we are also allowed to make tea and coffee should we wish to. The home provides entertainment every day, from arts and crafts, music concerts, armchair exercises, etc. Every lounge has a tv and if there is nothing on the staff will show a movie.

The individual bedrooms all have an en suite bathroom which has a shower and there are baths on each floor should the resident wish to have a bath.

The staff are very hard working but always have a smile on their face and a kind word to say. When we visit they know us all by name.

My mother has been there for a year now and the care she receives is fantastic.
