We are so impressed with the care Mum is receiving at Cherry Tree Nursing Home. All the staff are so caring and attentive and Mum seems so comfortable and at ease. Whenever we visit she is always well-presented and well-groomed which is lovely to see as she has always been very proud of her appearance.

Our lovely mum has been a resident here since August 2022. We, as a family, are so happy with the care she receives. All carers, nurses, cooks, cleaning staff and managers are so kind and caring. I have also met the new manageress and she has lots of ideas for new activities and family days. As a family,
we were so apprehensive about Mum living at the home but it really has been the best decision for her. We are always popping in and are always welcome.

My mother was a resident for one and a half years. She had a stroke, leaving her bedbound and needed admission. She has always been treated with great care, kindness and dignity. The staff got to know her likes and dislikes and understood her problems and frailties. I always was reassured when visiting
that she was loved and helped. Despite Covid meaning staff shortages for a while, I would recommend 100%.

Visit to review mother's care. Very impressed with mother's care mother is receiving. The staff was very accommodating, listening to relatives' impressions of the nursing home in order to carve out superior care.

My father came to Cherry Tree Nursing Home for the last three months of his life from a hospice. What started as such a difficult time for all of us quickly became such a blessing. When it comes down to it what is really important about a nursing home is not the 'bling and baubles' but the care that
our loved ones receive and at Cherry Tree it was wonderful. I spent a lot of time with my father in his room and I can honestly say I never heard a raised voice, only respect and empathy for the patients. It is a busy place and not perfect all of the time but the team always listen to any concerns however small and endeavour to rectify them. Nothing was too much trouble, we installed tv and his favourite chair from home - even a room change for a better view of the beautiful garden. I want to thank them all for making the last three months of my precious dad's life happy and my time with him something to cherish - I was able to be his daughter whilst they gave him dignity and comfort.

My mother has been a resident at Cherry Tree for nearly 2 years. Although times have been extremely hard during the pandemic, during my last few visits as a designated relative, it has been lovely to see my mother smile, see her out of her room in the lounge area, and has been encouraged to hear she
has joined in with some of the activities downstairs. I would like to thank all the staff for their care and hard work. Thank you.

My stepmother spent only the last two months of her life at Cherry Tree. She was well looked after, and in her lucid moments, said as much. Whenever we asked about her, the nursing staff not only knew who she was but also had a detailed knowledge and understanding of her condition.
In these days of
COVID, we had little opportunity to see or appreciated the service provided or the opportunities that are accessible. However, we are completely satisfied with the care provided. Consequently, I have left some boxes marked as satisfactory, not out of dissatisfaction but out of lack of knowledge.
Finally, a big thank you to the staff who looked after her.

My wife, aged 91, has been resident in Cherry Tree Nursing Home for the past seven months during which time she has received care which I can only describe as being second to none. I have the impression that this home is run by management and staff [without exception] that are truly dedicated to their
work and always ready with that extra TLC which makes all the difference to an ailing patient.

For the short time my family member was in the home, he was treated with dignity, respect and compassion at all times.
The scenery at the home, with the pond and outdoor space, made the stay very welcoming and relaxing. Security could be improved, no staff at reception most of the time and no buzzer
entry at the front door.

The staff are very kind and friendly. They respond quickly when assistance is needed. I have no other experience of care homes but am happy that my wife is receiving a good level of care.


At the moment, reception is unmanned hence the poor safety/security mark but I think action is being taken with

this. Cherry Tree Nursing Home seems to be a happy caring place.

Mum received palliative care in the new wing. She was looked after with the utmost respect, care and attention.

As a relative of a resident, in my view, the whole staff are friendly and willing to help in any way they can. Nothing seems too much trouble for them.

My wife has been a resident for about 18 months since she is unable to walk due to Parkinsons and needs to be hoisted from bed to chair etc. Initially, we were drawn to Cherry Tree by the setting, friendly welcome and happy atmosphere and have not been disappointed. A slight "hiccup" late last year
with lots of staff changes but back on an "even keel" now. Carers are friendly and attentive and food freshly prepared and good. The grounds are a delight and we spend most of the time outdoors in the summer months.
