My sister arrived at Byron Lodge in September 2022, physically unwell and very fearful about her future. We witnessed first-hand how kind and caring all the staff were towards my sister and, as she began to recover, she learned to trust and feel safe with them, enabling her to make the decision to remain there. Their kindness extended to all of us, her immediate family, whenever we visited, accommodating our impromptu picnics with her and allowing us to take over the outside area and relatively new garden furniture. There were regular planned activities and my sister was enabled to participate, in spite of her physical limitations. During a personal care review with Dianne, we came away immensely reassured that all my sister's care needs were being met very well. Dianne and her team were always so welcoming and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. My sister is no longer with us but we are very grateful that they helped to make time spent at Byron Lodge such a positive experience.

From day one, we was put at ease by the fantastic staff of the home and our dad seemed very comfortable and settled. I have found most of the staff extremely caring. On my visit, my sister is always clean. Any complaint is mainly about the food as she says it is awful and can't eat it.
