The staff and management work extremely hard to support the care of my wife on a daily basis. Care provision is professional, yet friendly; maintaining the dignity of the resident whilst building trust and rapport. This is a truly excellent nursing home, which reassures the family that their loved one is safe and cared for.

My brother and I normally visit out mother once a week, so have regular contact with her and the carers at Fewcott. From our experience they area very attentive, professional and friendly team. We are always updated when there are changes in mothers health, or consent is required for vaccinations etc.

When quizzed by us mother always confirms that she is happy and content with the staff and her treatment.

I would not hesitate to recommend Fewcott to nay families considering this Care Home.

My mother became a permanent resident at Fewcott on 21/01/25, she was in poor health and in a state of total confusion. At first it was difficult for my mother to adapt to the restrictions of a care home, but they were very necessary for her safety and wellbeing. The staff were very patient and professional and made the transition for my mother as smooth as possible. Over the months since her admission my mothers' health has improved dramatically, this has largely been as a result of the excellent care provided by Fewcott staff. As a regular visitor I witness a lot of normal day to day activity between staff and other residents, and it is fair to say across the board they are all friendly, competent and professional at all times. It was difficult decision to place my mother into care, with all the natural worries that comes with leaving her care in the hands of " strangers, but I need not have worried - I can see that I made the right decision.

I was having problems finding a nursing home for my husband who has Parkinson's disease and dementia. Daniel, the Deputy Manager could not have been more helpful and kind. He offered me support when I was nearly at my wit's end. My husband was admitted in October and since then my Mother has been admitted in December for end of life care.
The staff are all permanent so you see the same people every time you visit, this is also very important for my husband with his dementia.
I could not fault the staff helpful and kind attitude to all the residents and visitors alike.
It is extremely clean and tidy. The residents are entertained with games and activities.

I cannot praise this home more highly.

Having experienced extremely poor care in another care home in the area, we made the decision to move our relative to Fewcott house recently.

I can honestly say it has been the best decision we have ever made. The level of care, skill, experience and compassion that the team at Fewcott have shown has exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff are all wonderful: patient, skilled and organised and nothing is too much trouble. The deputy manager has gone the extra mile to help in every way possible when no one else in the previous home would, keeping us informed during what had previously been a very stressful period.

In short, the entire home from the owner, deputy, nurses, carers, cooks, laundry team and cleaners work together as a proper team and they have all been nothing short of amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to others - we were lucky to find them.

My mother went into Fewcott House middle of August 2025; she was extremely poorly. It was only after a few hours of excellent care that she started to look and feel more comfortable. This is all down to an excellent team, from the chefs to the cleaners; they make such a positive impact on the people in their care. The atmosphere in the house is calm, the clients are smiling, and happiness runs through the building. It's all so amazing and gives us relatives peace of mind.

My Mother and Father in law, both with forms of dementia, had exemplary care and were shown tremendous compassion. Their former home stopped them sharing a room which was distressing for them both. We found Fewcott and the first thought was, this doesn't smell like other homes. High standards of cleanliness and lovely surroundings, it was more like a country hotel. They lived out their days sharing a room, happy and well cared for. The senior nurse is the most compassionate and understanding person we could have found for their care. The staff were lovely and very understanding. I could not have been happier at the care they received.

My Mum has been in the home for 6 weeks now and cannot fault the home
The old home we rarely see a carer here is the reverse there are carers around all the time and we visit at different days and times
Food wise mum has breakfast then around 10 its tea and biscuits them then lunch at 12 more tea and biscuits at around 2 supper at about 4 Then tea and biscuits at about 8
Everytime I go in I get offered a drink
Mum finds it hard to walk so everyday she has 2 carers help her walk for a while one with her and one right behind her with her wheelchair
And they always have time not just for mum but for all the residents
This goes for all the staff from the manager down

This is the happiest I have seen my Mum in a long time

We cannot fault the care and support my husband has received at Fewcott House. if he needs a doctor one arrives promptly. The staff are so professional and couldn't be more helpful. All the staff from the chefs to the nurses are cheerful and considerate. Hospital/dentist trips have been organised when needed. Food seems tasty. The room is new and fresh and the French Doors outside are great.

When my best friend was no longer able to look after herself at home her eldest daughter asked me to view care homes with her. I had previous experience with Fewcott as old neighbors were there the year before. I have always found the staff friendly, and caring. My friend was given a first-floor room and now resides in a ground-floor room. This is spacious and sunny, My friend has all the room equipment in the room she needs. She feels safe and secure and I am sure the friendliness and care of the staff will continue.

My husband suffers from Alzheimer's disease and has been a resident for twenty-two months. During this time, his condition has rapidly deteriorated and he can no longer walk, feed himself, or communicate his needs. Throughout his stay, he has been treated with nothing but dignity, kindness and understanding by all the staff. I feel so grateful that I found a home where he receives such wonderful care.
