Quality of care is 100%, absolutely. The ability of staff, through to management is 100%. Cleanliness is, spotless. Would I recommend Burford Nursing Home? 100%, without doubt! Thank you all, for being so kind, through what was a truly difficult time for our family!

Up until recently, my dad was a resident here and he was really well looked after in his final year during the lockdown. I was really impressed with the work that went on, even when we weren't allowed in for long periods. Today I met up with the residents for a Love Songs themed singalong session. They had just enjoyed a special Valentine's lunch and the new dining area walls were decorated with homemade love hearts. There were around a dozen residents and several staff members with me for the singalong and they all seemed in a jolly mood happily joining in with singing and a few funny stories. Afterwards, the residents stayed in the new dining area for a well-earned cup of tea and some love themed macaroons! The residents tell me that they look forward to our weekly singalong sessions and know the day and times that I'm due to be there. It certainly seems to brighten their day and I always get smiles and laughter. Great fun!

In their final days and hours the team went above and beyond to make sure that we were able to say goodbye for which we will always be thankful. We really could not have wished for them to be in a better place.

My wife has been a resident in Burford Nursing Home for the past 2 years and we have been pleased and impressed by the way in which mangers and all staff have worked to keep everyone safe and as contented as possible , given the difficulties created by the Covid restrictions. They work together to maintain a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere whilst keeping to the standards in a caring nursing home, The recent acquisition of a minibus for transporting residents-including those in wheelchairs-has been a resounding success as it has provided visits and activities away from the Nursing Home, especially important given the restrictions since the start of Covid. This is overseen and driven by the Activities Organiser on a reservable basis and works extremely well, We are happy with the individual care and attention my wife receives ,delivered in a friendly and caring manner.

I would highly recommend Burford Nursing Home, both my parents have settled in well and are happy at Burford. I feel secure in the knowledge that they are being looked after well and have everything that they could need. The staff have been both friendly and proactive, identifying and raising any changes in my parent's wellbeing that may require attention. The staff have also supported my sister and I, enabling a smooth transition as our parents moved from their own homes into a nursing home.

Seeing photos of events is lovely and the effort by staff to make things fun and interesting for our loved ones makes me smile.

Both parents went to the nursing home in May 2020 couldn't ask for better care for them both so kind, made the family feel part of their very special family kept us updated the whole time during lockdown which was so important. Sadly both parents have passed away now, but the last period of their life was made so special by such kind compassionate carers and staff. They were all so kind thank you for the amazing care you gave them.

Excellent care given at all times always kept informed. Sadly my Auntie passed away, not COVID related, and the staff couldn't have done more, so supportive and understanding, making sure all my aunt's wishes were taken care of in the most difficult circumstances. Nothing was too much trouble, such great care.

As someone who visited almost every day, as a close relative, I was made to feel 'part of the family' and always treated cordially by friendly faces. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I will be eternally grateful to Burford Nursing Home for the degree of care they provided.

I congratulate you on your very good communication through the emails you are sending keeping us updated on the Covid19 situation and this enables us to feel more connected together with the advent of the use of the video calls whereby I can now see her on the camera more regularly.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to those who are in need of this type of nursing care.

I feel the care my father is receiving is excellent, and we know he could not have better care. I feel the management is keeping us so well informed about what is happening, which I really appreciate could not wish for more.

The staff and management of the home have been excellent during the Covid19 infection. They have addressed the challenges brilliantly and ensured the residents are well looked after.

All the staff cared for my mother with kindness, compassion, and empathy to all of our needs. Communication with the staff was exceptional; always well informed. At these difficult times, I cannot say how compassionate the staff were with my mum at the end of her life. Thank you.

The whole team from the managers down to the staff who cleaned the room were absolutely brilliant. The whole team were/are a credit to the nursing home for the outstanding level of care my wife received for end of life care.

It had such a homely feeling the moment you enter.

Since being in the home, my parents have been well looked after with nothing being too much trouble. They are clean, fed and safe. Not only that but they are given activities to keep their minds active.

The care home has a lovely 'home from home' feel. You are greeted by a friendly face as you enter. Residents look content and relaxed. Everywhere smells clean and fresh, nice decor and furnishings, staff are friendly and approachable, caring and competent. Management available if any questions regarding your relative's care needs. All in all, very satisfactory.
