The care afforded to my mother, who received end-of-life nursing care at Burford Nursing Home for the last six months of her life, was superlative. The individual care package she received was kind, considerate, flexible, compassionate and appropriate throughout her time at the home. The carers and
nursing staff befriended her and did their very best to allow her to end her days as she wished, responding to her requests for anything she wanted.
Personal cleanliness and the care of her private room was excellent; meals and refreshments in-between meal times was plentiful and she was accompanied outside into the garden and grounds by staff whenever she wished - which could sometimes be numerous times a day!
As someone who visited almost every day, as a close relative, I was made to feel 'part of the family' and always treated cordially by friendly faces. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I will be eternally grateful to Burford Nursing Home for the degree of care they provided.

Just thank you for taking the care and attention with my aunt, who has lived with you now for - ? 3 years, to be honest, I have forgotten. She always appears cheerful and pleased to see me and never complains of needing anything. I feel all her needs are met and my brother and I are very grateful
for the excellent care you provide as well as understanding that she is a very private lady, a spinster who does not relate well to men. I feel this aspect has been well respected.
I congratulate you on your very good communication through the emails you are sending keeping us updated on the Covid19 situation and this enables us to feel more connected together with the advent of the use of the video calls whereby I can now see her on the camera more regularly.

I have been visiting my friend on a weekly basis for over 5-years now. Ever since the home was extended (very tastefully I might add!), I have felt that the staff themselves have become more caring, more reliable and friendlier.
The management is excellent, trustworthy and efficient, and the gentle
banter and fun that exists throughout the day between staff and residents; makes the home 'alive'.
Visitors are always treated with respect and a cup of tea. I feel that the residents are listened to, and their particular preferences are accommodated.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to those who are in need of this type of nursing care.

I feel the care my father is receiving is excellent, and we know he could not have better care. I feel the management is keeping us so well informed about what is happening, which I really appreciate could not wish for more.

All the staff cared for my mother with kindness, compassion, and empathy to all of our needs. Communication with the staff was exceptional; always well informed. At these difficult times, I cannot say how compassionate the staff were with my mum at the end of her life. Thank you.

The whole team from the managers down to the staff who cleaned the room were absolutely brilliant. The whole team were/are a credit to the nursing home for the outstanding level of care my wife received for end of life care.

I am full of admiration and gratitude for the way in which every member of staff contributed to making my mother’s stay as comfortable and easeful as possible. The staff were approachable, professional and kind and during this challenging period of Covid-19, did everything they could to nurse her with
grace and dignity until the very end of her life.
My family much appreciated the way in which they communicated with us and the respect they showed to her.

I really feel it is important to leave a review and comment on the courage, bravery, professionalism, compassion and total selfless way the management, administration, nursing, carers, assistants and support staff are handling this Covid-19 Global pandemic attacking the population, particularly the
ageing and most vulnerable among us.
The manner they have all handled this terrifying situation is almost beyond words and all of our heartfelt thanks go out to each and every one of you for ensuring the safety, dignity and clinical care is still provided at the highest level. When you all worked out how to handle this situation in the most unassuming professional way by announcing the security and safety of the residents, we all knew that in you we could trust the well-being of our loved ones.
Thank you form the bottom of my heart for what you've achieved so far and what you will achieve going forward. Your personal sacrifices will never be forgotten.

My Mother-in-law has been in the home since last year.
Her remaining at home had become impossible due to her dementia getting worse and her behaviour more challenging.
What difference we have seen in her with the fantastic care that she receives.
All of the carers are cheerful and smiling.
It
had such a homely feeling the moment you enter.

The care home has a lovely 'home from home' feel. You are greeted by a friendly face as you enter. Residents look content and relaxed. Everywhere smells clean and fresh, nice decor and furnishings, staff are friendly and approachable, caring and competent. Management available if any questions regarding
your relative's care needs. All in all, very satisfactory.

My husband requires 24-hour care and is wheelchair bound. Since arriving at Ramping Cat House last year, we have experienced friendly and caring service. All friends visiting agree that they are always welcomed and feel the home has a warm, cosy atmosphere. Unlike the home, he was in previously! The
management and staff do an amazing job considering the enormity of it.

My grampy was taken to the care home after being in hospital. He had been in another care home which we were not happy with, so as you can imagine we were all a bit concerned at first with the move. As we looked around and met the staff, we soon realised that it was a lovely, homely place and the staff
were so welcoming to us at all times. My gramp received so much attention and they cared for his needs so well. Sadly he passed away but the staff were so supportive and gave us private time near the end but were just outside the door if we needed them.

The staff at the care home are absolutely amazing. My husband has now stayed 3 times for respite and I would not hesitate to book in the future. The home is very clean and very caring about all of their residents. I would rate the home as 100%.

I was extremely impressed by the quality of care my friend received. I am a retired nurse and these things matter enormously to me. My friend died in your care and his care could not have been bettered. He always looked clean, shaven and even the day before he died nodded when I asked him if he was
comfortable. The staff were all courteous and friendly. The room was clean, bright and attractive.
His family were also very grateful for the care that he received in the last weeks of his life and by the friendliness and sympathetic support they received from all the staff.

My mum went to the Ramping Cat House Nursing Home last night. I can honestly say when she went in she looked dreadful. She looks so much better with the care she is receiving.
