My mother recently died in Diamond House having lived there for just over a year. The level of care given by every member of staff was exceptional. She was treated with dignity and respect. Nothing was too much trouble and no problem was too small to sort. All staff responded quickly and appropriately
to her changing needs and her comfort and wellbeing were always the main priority.
There is a lovely, homely feel to Diamond House and I am very grateful that my mum was able to live there, cherished and cared for by such an amazing team of people.

My mother is a resident of Diamond House. She has been for nearly three years. I and my father cannot praise the staff and manageress enough. They have got through the last year and kept the residents safe. Mum went through a bad patch with her health but with everyone's patience and kindness, she is
now looking very healthy again. I would strongly recommend Diamond House to anyone needing extra care.

Diamond House has been a wonderful place for my elderly mother to live in these past six months. She arrived in the middle of the Covid restrictions and therefore was unable to have any visitors. The staff were so kind and caring towards her and when speaking to my mother on the phone she was obviously
settled, which is great credit to all the staff in such difficult times. She is obviously in a very safe and caring environment.
When I ring nothing is too much trouble and all requests are met with a friendly and helpful response.
I would thoroughly recommend this home.

My husband has been a resident at Diamond House for over 2 years. The standard of care is excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and kept very clean.
The dining room is very attractive and the food excellent.
Wouldn’t want my husband to be anywhere else.

Lovely surroundings, happy friendly staff and food looked delicious. I was made to feel welcome, outside area is nice with plants and flowers, talked to some of the people that live here all seemed happy. Overall looked very clean and tidy.

The staff at Diamond House are brilliant at caring for my aunt, from the manager to the youngest carer. At 95 my aunt is happy and content, anytime she takes a turn for the worst, help is always at hand. She is eating and sleeping better than ever. Thanks to a great team.

Diamond House provided the most loving and caring support for my mother over her 4 years at the home. Even when busy they found time for Mum to ensure she was comfortable, clean and nourished. The home provided regular entertainment to ensure the residents were stimulated. The quality of the food was
good and the rooms were well maintained and regularly painted. The staff cared for Mum as a valued individual even though the dementia had taken so much away from her. They were always patient and kind. Their treatment was the same with everyone as I witnessed over the years and numerous visits. The staff really seem to enjoy and be proud of their work - they seem to feel valued and that is so important. Some staff have left over the period that Mum was in the home but the good ones have come back again discovering how much better Diamond House is compared to other settings.

My mother resided at Diamond House for the last years of her life suffering with Alzheimer's. It truly is a home, we were always so welcome when visiting and the residents treated with such affection and respect. Mum had many happy hours there and we were impressed with the cleanliness and excellent
food.
My mother's end of life care was exemplary. She was treated with compassion and respect to the very end and any medical needs she had were quickly addressed. My family were able to be with her whenever possible and we were so comforted by the calm and peaceful environment made by the staff and their tender care of my mother. Nothing was too much trouble either for her or us.
This is a home to be proud of and everyone on the team there are to be congratulated. I would have no hesitation in advising anyone in our position to put a loved one into care at Diamond House.

Perfect place, can not recommend it more highly. If I had a choice as her LPA, she would still be in Diamond House. The staff give excellent, perfect and respectful care. Far and beyond any other home I have seen and used for my own mother in a different area. Perfection is rare but they have managed

My dad was only at Diamond House for 1 week, he was thoroughly looked after in that time, the staff were faultless in there care for him. At the end the end of life care was brilliant, the staff also took time out to make sure us as the family were ok, bringing us lots of cups of tea. If you need to
go into a home choose Diamond House you won't regret it.

My father lived at Diamond House for the last 2 years of his life, unfortunately, he died peacefully on 4th Sept 2017. The manager and her team could not have done more to help myself and my family through what is a difficult time. The care compassion and love all the staff gave was amazing. Dads comfort
and dignity were their highest priority and nothing was too much I cannot fault the care given.


I highly recommend this home, yes it needs some new chairs and the team are working on that but the most important factor is the staff and they are the best. Thank you to the manager and the team and keep up the amazing work you are doing.

My relative has been in this home for more than 9 years. Food appears to be of good quality. Drinks are always available with staff to assist where necessary.
My relative is clean and well cared for. Privacy is respected.
Staff appear to have a genuine regard for my relative.

Diamond House is the second care home my mum has been a resident in, so I am able to make a comparison.
The most important asset a care home can have, in my opinion, is good staff.
Diamond don't have good staff, they have excellent staff!
Caring, compassionate, efficient and jolly.
I visit every
day and see regular entertainment, lovely food and happy residents.
Indeed, my mum seems ten years younger in only a short period of living there and has begun to laugh again. Wonderful!

Happy with the care for my dad. I know it's been a struggle for all. Staff have been very good with him. I think it would be great if more activities could be done for him. This would make him more at home. Things can only get better with time and medication.
